Re: de cat
First off...it is nearly impossible to cut this pipe where you need to where it sits unless you have a very specific reciprocating saw. The angles do not work with your standard dewalt type sawzall. It is so tight between the sump and pipe a glove barley fits. Second lesson is that the piece in this thread
is kind of deceiving. The pipe needs to be cut AFTER the second weld headed to the header.(totally obvious now....I told you all I can really PHUk UP a project) If I had to do it again, I would cut right at the cat body, there is plenty of room there. To drill out the bullet proof catalytic material we used a 1/2 drill bit all round the perimeter, then cleaned it out with a 2” deep 2 3/4 round hole saw. Then I would start the cut in the proper place with a cutting wheel and finish the cut from inside the pipe with diamond cutter Dremel. That is how we fix the first bad cut.
Where MTC put my wide band O2 sensor bung was dam near perfect for the installation of the Woolich kit. If you want one, maybe have him rotate it closer to 12 o’clock a few degrees. I did a few hundred miles this morning through the mountains for data logging. The thing is a beast and yes now you can hear the akrapovic slip on. I used someone’s flash as a base point yesterday and will fine tune it now with the data collected today.

Anyone know what the header info is on the H2?Zdude wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 1:08 pm This is a great find Keith. Wonder how this would compare to the fitting of the 2011-2015 ZX10R oem headers. I would think that Kawasaki would have optimized the stock headers to work with this particular motor including the supercharger. I know factories spend enormous amounts to give the best performance possible with stock pipes but are limited by emissions and sound level requirements. I'm running a Yosh Alpha slip-on, Sprint filter and Vcyclenut flash so I know it would require a reflash from David but wonder if the flash he has developed for the ZX10 header kit he sells would be right for this configuration? The only real benefit I see with the ZX10 header over this would be that they are Titanium and would be a few lbs lighter.
Maybe that'd be a 'tuned' header for the HP, and good setup for the SX's.

The exhaust ports are different between the 2 bikes so it won't work.Prof J wrote: Sun Jun 16, 2019 12:49 pmAnyone know what the header info is on the H2?Zdude wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 1:08 pm This is a great find Keith.
