Re: de cat
Good to hear Dragonmaster, thought it could be done on the bike if careful. Great job dude! Like your screenname too. I've called my last 3 Kawasaki's Dragons starting with my green 2000 ZX12R Turbo-bike, black with green highlights 2013 ZX14R and now the green & black H2SXSE. Buddies would call me up and ask if I was going to take the "Dragon" out for a ride, everybody knew my bike as my "personal Dragon" so I suppose I would be somewhat of a "Dragonmaster" too

Re: de cat
Drnick, click on the link in the 1st post of this thread, that was what this thread was about. I believe it's an Ebay item out of the UK. Pretty simple solution if you don't have a problem cutting the cat off the header while the pipe is still on the bike.

Note the part is brand new so its not listed on the web site just yet but should be on there in a few days.
You can email them at
sales@mtcexhausts.co.uk
Note you do need to cut the exhaust valve chamber off the original header but you don't need to do it while its still attached to the bike. If you do don't use a cutting disk use a saw like the one in my post its safer and easier to control. A cutting wheel can easily slip and cut something you didn't intend. Be sure to cut at the same point I did pics attached.

Re: de cat
Ah yes max torque cans,to bad this wasn’t made in the states
Is there an actual part # for this on max torque website?
And yes, cutting this on bike, and reaming out what ever is left,
Is like getting a colonoscopy with a dremel tool
PS did you reuse the exhaust valve,or totally removed it?

Re: de cat
Max torque finally listed this part on there website,£85+£35 to ship to Florida
Whatever that is in US dollars?.....so,my question is this, how many are ready to
Do This mod? Seems simple enough, although I would take header off to ream out
That part of cat that’s in collector properly.
