I am very interested. Everything said here sounds good. It also sounds like you guys live in my neck of the woods. I will save you the shipping and pick it up.

Has anyone actually had any major head shake on their bikes to justify a damper..(I understand it’s needed for Top Speed entry).

You are a bout 200 or so miles north of me, but you're always more than welcome to come down if I'm in the garage to talk shop or pick it up. I make my way up that far every once in a while, but it's sporadic, at best.PhukDD wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2019 3:29 pm I am very interested. Everything said here sounds good. in my experience, tankslappers are like kidney stones..... it only takes having one to remember it vividly and not want to experience it ever again.Switch18 wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2019 4:27 pm Has anyone actually had any major head shake on their bikes to justify a damper..(I understand it’s needed for Top Speed entry).

We're out in the sticks beyond Tucson, the Gov doesn't listen to us.PhukDD wrote: Sat Apr 20, 2019 3:51 amOhhhhhh I live south of phx by about 30mins....but it sounds like you live in TUC....the plAce we only go for MT Lemon in spring and fall.....btw talk to your gov about fiXing your dam roads...worse I have ever seen....you can ship it, I10 down there in May is worse than getting wisdom teeth pulledSpazonazx wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2019 10:03 pmYou are a bout 200 or so miles north of me, but you're always more than welcome to come down if I'm in the garage to talk shop or pick it up. Re: Would you be interested in a steering damper mounting kit?
Just a quick update: One of the fork mounts came in, and I'm still waiting for the other. All the OEM hardware showed up to do one complete kit. Once I have both brackets in hand I'll let Cooter know and we'll see how well it works. I'll probably go ahead and order the first universal Ohlins here shortly on the hope and a prayer that at least one of ya'll will get one.
