Hey ya'll! I'm back from the salt... what a tough year! We eeked out a couple records by mere tenths of MPH, but we got a few in... despite the salt being stoooopid slick.

I plan on finalizing the damper bracket as soon as I can get some time with Cooter's bike. I have a very unexpected trip coming up in Oct: I'll be out of the loop from the 15th OCT 'till about the 20th of NOV. This puts me in a serious time crunch for the 2 bikes I have to (re)prep for the November 11th El Mirage meet, as they are a torn-down salty mess from the last race right now. With less than a month it's going to be tight to get the prototype finished, but as soon as Cooter hits me up I'll get a plan in motion. With any luck I can use the time in Oct-Nov to get all the brackets powder coated and be ready to ship some stuff ASAP.

Cooter, drop me message when you can so we can get something worked up.

Cool videos. I knew the salt flats weren't perfectly flat, but I had no idea how rough they really are for a high speed motorcycle pass.

Resurrecting a old post here. I ended up making a batch of mounts that worked with the ohlins damper but I don’t make that version any more. I do make steering damper kits that use a Scotts steering damper though.

I am also from the UK, what is the difference with the Scott’s compared to the ohlins dampers.
Do you have any photos, and how easy are they to fit? And also what cost would it be including shipping to the UK?

You should find everything you’re looking for in the link. My second post in that thread is a comparison of the ohlins and Scotts kits. Installation is easy. The cost with shipping will be around $600.
