So, I bought this exhaust tip and I like the way it looks because I love the way the rear wheel looks and I hate that the factory can covers it up so much. It is loud which doesn't bother me, but I'm sure my neighbors don't like it in the morning when it echoes in my garage. I have the sprint F185 air filter and this little exhaust tip. My question is, is it going to harm anything NOT getting it tuned? Or does removing the factory can completely through off the way it runs? It seems to idle and run the same as it did before. Thanks!

It's not letting me add a video off my android phone.. I'll try to figure that out later. I wanted to post a video showing what it sounds like while riding

You're fine. The catalytic converter is the most restrictive part of the exhaust, removing the stock can should not have a negative affect.

My bike was run on the dyno with and without the can....without the can it only made 1bhp difference.

Has anyone else had trouble getting a response from Vandemom? I've emailed both Vandemonusa and the corporate office in Australia multiple times and haven't had a response. Are they still in business?

OK, I finally got in touch with them. Still not sure what the hold up was.

the exhaust tip you have is the slash cut from e bay, I had a pair of them on my sx 1000 , looked and sounded great, I also bought a pair of cheap baffles from e bay which is just a matter of drilling 0ne 5mm hole and securing with the supplied bolt

Well my spacers seem to have worked out. Got 8 for 80bucks. Need to do a test ride to be really sure. But I ran the bike up to 195 to see if the new flash would kick on at that temp. So far so good.

I like the foot pegs. Planning on something similar down the line.

Do you noticed much difference in vibration?

that's a picture of my 2017 sx 1000, with the lowered adjustable pegs, I removed them when I sold my sx , they are now on my sx h2 se .
