I flushed my coolant and put in waterwatter, since then my coolant temps now average about 132-140f when riding on a regular day

What exactly do you want out of the fuel? If it's for street riding than E85 is pretty much going to be your only option if its readily available. Otherwise you'd need to haul cans of race fuel everywhere if you plan on riding further than a tank of fuel. With the options you listed the bike id's going to need increased fuel flow to get a benefit from the fuels you mentioned.

If it's for the occasional race event or track day you can set one of your power modes up for a specific fuel drain your tank and run a specialized fuel. I went with VP racing fuels Q16. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=729&hilit=Race+fuel

Honestly for street use of your worried about detonation run a quality pump gas and don't get overly aggressive with the timing. As of right now I haven't seen anyone else running alternative fuels.

Is your bike exposed to freezing temperatures? I'm pretty sure water wetter doesn't have any anti freeze in it.

Thank you for the info. My plan is to go with the brock's performance system. I am hoping he comes out with a full exhaust system by the time my break in miles are up. I typically roll race if I am racing. The rest of the time I am cruising at highway speed, maybe a little over :D. I plan on also cutting weight were I can(center stand and exhaust mainly), and going with the upgraded chain and sprocket(530). Looking at ceramic bearings as well. I do want a map for a different fuel for full power, I want medium power to be stock full power, and low power to be medium.

Also, I don't know if it's possible but I would like to open up the other side cut out for more ram air. What do you think?
The non-pump fuels basically only allow you to get more aggressive with timing to add power. Without changing the timing it'll most likely make less power. I can't remember if the H2 SX SE stays in the last power mode when the key is turned off. I think it does stay in the same mode. But if it does reset to full power mode you'll have to be careful if you tune your full power mode for race fuel. Forgetting to switch it down to medium mode for pump gas could be catastrophic to the engine. That's why I chose to tune the medium power mode for the Q16. I never use the medium power mode on my bikes so there is no way I'd accidently put the bike into the race fuel mode unless I'm running the racefuel. If I put racefuel in and run the pump gas tune it's just not going to run well. I also think of someone else was riding my bike for whatever reason they are less likely to switch it into medium power mode than Low or Full.

As far as the ram air goes good luck with that. I'm not saying it's impossible but it will take a lot more custom fabrication than its worth. A custom duct would have to be made to go around the ecu, abs system, over the throttle bodies, air plenum, under the tank then tie it into the other duct before the airfilter so it can go into the supercharger on the left side. Or you could redesign the plenum and fit a custom airbox above the supercharger that has ram air coming in from both sides like the H2R. Your better off adding an intercooler and/or bumping up the redline or adding supercharger gears to add boost.

I never park it outside at freezing temperatures. And yes you are correct, water wetter will not significantly reduce the freezing point of the coolant.

Crown Hill wrote: Tue Mar 05, 2019 6:30 pm I am sure it is more work than it's worth. Just wish list type stuff. My dreams go beyond my budget most of the time. Thanks for the info man. Using medium for alternate fuel is a good idea. What areas are you all saving weight. I am sure the big ones are tires and exhaust. Anything else that we can replace or delete?
The exhaust was the big one on mine. I removed the center stand, but I did that so I can do track days. The wheels would be a big area to cut weight. The PAIR system is removed on mine as well. The other common thing to change for weight savings is the battery I'll probably do that once my stock one needs replaced. Beyond that you could do titanium bolts for a small weight savings. Maybe remove corner lights, heated grips, qs etc. But at that point a different bike would have been a better choice. Or start getting into custom fabbed stuff like light weight triple trees, custom sub frame, custom swing arm, etc. But once again cost and effort versus the result makes it not worth it.

I don't know what effect shorter gearing will have on the boost tenors but I think it will be minimal. After a flash and tune most H2 SX don't need shorter gearing. I think the typical -1,+2 that people do on street bikes would make this bike annoying to ride.

I added a set of lowering links from soupys performance and an adjustable kick stand. I'm going to just strap the front end at the drag strip.

as cooter said only e85 would be an option for street riding, I was going to make an e85 map but after having issues with the fuel injectors in my car from running e85 IMO its not worth the hassle. The high ethanol content makes it attract water and it actually gummed up my injectors after only sitting a couple weeks in my car.

For weight savings, the exhaust is huge, removing things that arent necessary , light weight battery
next id say carbon wheels( i can get you a great price), then its going to get tough and expensive

We all like to get eveything we can from out bikes, but do keep in mind the H2sx is not the same as an h2 and there are plenty of people reporting motor failures when chasing every hp, so proceed with caution and make sure your tuner understands this.

I haven't heard of any motor failures yet. Where are they being reported?

Another option to keep things cool, well at least iat’s is a intercooler. Intercooler kit will be avalible soon :P
