You should be getting a lot more than that. You should easily break 200rwhp, with a fully stock bike and just a tune.

But if you're happy, that's what matters.

Very happy :D

BSD weren't going for biggest numbers possible - even though these are big numbers....

There was a bit more to be had from the engine but not worth pushing it just to hit a milestone BHP number. The throttle mapping has made a huge difference too

At the end of the day: different tuners - different maps - different numbers
BSD were the obvious choice for me: reputation and only 1 hour away

There's a safe margin for raising the limiter, but to each their own.

Is there any gains to be got from a remap, woolich software and tuned on a Dyno WITHOUT raising the rev limiter?

Of course. Factory mappings are shit, for a reason.

You'll gain HP either way, and the throttle mapping will be much smoother if your tuner knows what they're doing, but you can safely raise the limiter to an extent as with most bikes.

Cool, thanks for that info. I'm new to the H2SX life, and getting a right good tuner / mapping company seems to be the way forward. I'd hate to wreck the engine all the same. Im not pushed about massive bhp gains, just a smoother map, with a few horses would be nice. 👌

I've not raised my rpm limit to make 204whp. Intake temps are whats keeping me from pushing any further

You don't have to, but again, there is a safe increase that can be done. The blue and red lines on this graph are my bike with filter and exhaust only (and block offs, obv). Limiter is raised to 13k. It's been that way for over 10-15k miles of fairly brutal riding.

Using Woolich software, zx10r headers, sf sprint air filter, Pairs blocked etc, my last rolling road run (sat 16/4/22) showed 204bhp and 110lbft torque. A work in progress, but very happy with my results so far 😎
