Ecu flash in uk
Ecu flash in uk
Anyone had the sci flashed in uk? Results? Anyone used hilltop motorcycles? They said they had done a few with good results around 220 hp

Re: Ecu flash in uk
Just had mine done at Jordan Bikes in Leeds check out their youtube channel.
214.7 BHP at the rear wheel that's with a K&N filter and Akrapovic with baffles removed.
Happy with result and note I wasn't just chasing a big number as the only way this is possible is to start raising the rev limiter past the 12,500 stock.
Been pissing down with rain and snow since she was tuned (last week) so been difficult to test properly but she does feel much better than stock.

Re: Ecu flash in uk
I'm interested to see responses to this. I plan to visit Hilltop in the next couple of months too. I'll not be looking for big number power gains but 210+ at the rear wheel sounds pretty good to me!!

Re: Ecu flash in uk
I am now looking at Jordans too as they say their dyno run and alterations do not make the engine unreliable. I am doing it more to make the fly by wire throttle smoother more than anything. All I shall do prior to this is fit an after market slip on.

Just ordered a zx10R header so I can lose the cat and exhaust valve then its back to Jordans for a quick adjustment of my remap.

Re: Ecu flash in uk
I would NEVER go back to Hilltop, my bike had a big flat spot at 5k revs and hunted when cruising, “yeh yeh they all do that, tune fixes that no problem,” after install and no sign of the flat spot on the dyno readout (R1200RS) I asked why it was no better nor did it ride any different power wise, they said it was faulty and to take it back to BMW.
I have real doubts if they re mapped anything as we had 2 identical bikes done on the same day and neither were any different. I don’t trust them at all.

Thanks for the feedback. It's always difficult to know who's good and who's not. A friend, who's bringing his KTM Super Duke 1290 GT to Hilltop at the same time had his R9T done there and thinks they did an excellent job.Bengarzy wrote: Fri Mar 29, 2019 9:02 pm I would NEVER go back to Hilltop, my bike had a big flat spot at 5k revs and hunted when cruising, “yeh yeh they all do that, tune fixes that no problem,” after install and no sign of the flat spot on the dyno readout (R1200RS) I asked why it was no better nor did it ride any different power wise, they said it was faulty and to take it back to BMW.

Re: Ecu flash in uk
Has anyone else done their remap at Jordans or anywhere else in UK? I just got my h2sx se and feel like the acceleration is very snatchy/jerky at low RPM. I want to do a remap just to smoothen it out and wondering where would be the best place to do it.

Re: Ecu flash in uk
Any update on ECU Flash for the H2sx? Reputable service providers, etc, in the UK?
Can any UK owner can offer recommendations etc?
Does a flash make a noticeable diffference to the H2SX, and does it effect reliability?
Sorry for all the Q's. New owner here.....

Yes, a massive one.DaveDonnelly wrote: Fri Apr 15, 2022 10:25 pm Does a flash make a noticeable diffference to the H2SX, and does it effect reliability?
No, reliability is just as good unless the tuner is complete garbage (and does something that blows your engine). From what I can tell, those of you over the pond have a harder time finding someone reputable than we do here in the US, unfortunately.
