Anyone know what the production numbers are going to be?

Post by cOoTeR » Fri Jan 19, 2018 3:33 am

Has anyone seen how many of H2 SXs they are planning to make? Are they planning on doing fewer SEs since they are "Special Edition"?

I've heard rumors that dealerships have told people Kawasaki isn't going to send them any if they don't have a buyer lined up for it because they don't want them to go unsold. With rumors that the motorcycle market is steadily declining it seems understandable.

In Canada it seems to be 1 SE per dealership, according to the dealers I've called.

If that's true, hope greedy dealers don't try to mark up the price above MSRP.

I'm not sure what their plans are, but I paid mine 300$ below MSRP with prep and transport fees included..

Also, I got a hint that the bikes wont hit dealers floors before March 1st.. but I need someone to translate a Japanese video I came across..

If it's March now I'm okay with that. Weather will be mostly shit here anyway. It will just sit in the garage.

Info on this bike is tight as hell. No one seems to know anything about delivery, availability.

For me March 27 is planned. Bike will arive end of Februari, but the weather at that period still bad.
Prior picking up my H2SX, i will go cycling for 11 days in the sun on Gran Canaria. After that will take the sun with me to the Netherlands for first ride. That will be a couple of hours after landing on the airport. Can't wait for the first ride.

I injured my shoulder last June and missed out on a lot of riding before having surgery in October. I just got cleared by my Dr to be able to ride. The weather is great here, high 60s low 70s during the day. I've only got my race bike in the garage so I'm really hoping my SX SE comes in soon!

My dealer is only receiving 1 of each. I don't know if that's only what he orderd or if that was the limit of the Kawi mothership.

Overhere they say 800 bikes (both SX and SX SE) for 2018 are planned.
