MotoWerks Footpeg Lowering BLocks Ninja 1000
I bought a pair of Motowerks lowering blocks specified for the Ninja 1000 in hopes they would work on the H2 SXSE, but they will not as the SXSE shift lever is an unusual shape. The right side fits fine FWIW.
So if anyone is in need of a set of high quality footpeg lowering blocks for a Ninja 1000, they are for sale.
I went with the lower footpegs for a Ninja300 from Knight Design and they look good and work well, although feel a bit less sporty in the tight twisties. For long trips they are more comfortable than the stockers.
For better wet weather grip, I dipped the pegs in plastidip a couple of times.
The sharp edges of the Knight Design pegs were cutting into the instep of my boots, so I filed them down just a bit. All is good now.

Knight Design pegs from my previous 2016 ZX-14R (these are the 1 3/8" , 35mm lowered pegs). I had to ream the mount holes out to fit the bigger pivot pins. Knight also sells a 10mm lowered peg. Takes some getting use to, because the pegs push your feet out a bit.

It looks to me like the motowerks lowering blocks would work with a standard shift lever.keith zx wrote: Fri Feb 08, 2019 2:18 pm thanks for your reply if the sx h2 is not fit with the quick gear shifter just a standard gear change would they then fit thanks

Re: lowering riding pegs
Knights designs works ok. Funky angle. I don't like how they push my feet out also. I'm making a taller seat to see if it is better than these odd ducks. The seat is too low and that is coming from a guy with a 30" inseam. I do not know how you guys with a 36" inseam rides these bikes more than a block.

Re: lowering riding pegs
I bolted plate on my sx 1000 to make the brake pedal easier to use when I fit the Chinese lowered pegs as they also throw your feet out works a treat . could have made it a bit neater but my first go , I just got used to the gear side , but don't see why you could not extend the length fo the gear lever ,
