For any of the guys who have done this as the only mod, do you experience any popping or other signs of needing fuel remapping? I would like to go with the vcyclenut flash but I think that is a ways down the road.

Thanks!
I recently switched to the Yosh Alpha slipon, also running the vcyclenut flash and Sprint filter. Very happy with it. Fits perfect and works fine with hardbags.

The exhaust is fairly quiet down low, but when you get on it it has a nice, mellow growl to it. With my setup I experience no popping on decel. If you are just a road rider a slipon, reflash and filter is fine. Probably still running 215-218 rwhp. I see no need for an annoyingly loud full system unless you race your SX at the strip on the weekends, etc.

Yoshimura's video shows no popping on what I presume is an unflashed bike.

No popping on my full system on decel. I get what sounds like little pops on up shifts if i use the quickshifter.

Not compatible with hardbags. When I bought it I was under the impression it was. I use my bags a lot, so switched the the Yosh.

The Brock's slipon is great if you don't run bags tho.

I bought this slip on and just received it her in Canada. I got it off fleabay but man what a deal offered by Iron Pony having them listed as open box. That was literally it the box opened but everything else inside sealed as new. It said Stainless w Carbon end cap but I swear to me it looks TI however they do not list a Ti on their site so it i guess is stainless in more matte finish vs previous shiny stainless I have had. The slip on was $269 us shipped free and I had to pay an additional 60 and tax at home but was still near $300 less than in Canada, Now I have funds to put aside for ABM bar kit or Bryans riser kit and possibly damper, gotta like that!

So you are flashed w sprint filter and just the Yosh slip on so you retained the cat correct? If so this is probably what I will end up with at some point. Did you pull your ecu and send ? Still learning

If you haven't already had the ECU flashed then it's worth doing regardless of whether you swap out the can and filter. On our bikes "deresticting" the bike and cleaning up the fueling is probably the best bang-for-bucks improvement of any improvement.

Oh I agree with you, but just wanted to know if you are still running the cat. Since I am in Canada it is a real pain to ship off my ECU, I am trying to find out whether we have a reliable source for flashing in Canada, I do agree that low speed throttle response is horrible on stock tune and takes some work to deal w it. However I just got bike, spent enough and its is soon winter here , in time I will eventually get flashed. I have the Alpha pipe at home , looking forward to installing it
