Thor, it looks like you've done an excellent job on a bit of eye candy.

Probably cost prohibitive, do you have a cost to USA? Shipping over the pond usually prohibitive, that and exchange rates.THOR wrote: Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:12 pm I just been informed that you are looking one of these. I can sell you one its, £60 plus delivery. I couldn't post to the forum as the Facebook orders are overwhelming already. This months patch been sold out but there will be a patch coming soon end of this month beginning of the next month.

Re: Carbon or black heel guards
Fitted my carbon heel guards before today’s ride in unseasonably warm weather in the U.K.
The right hand guard goes well with the carbon Scorpion exhaust.
Just need a Powerbronze carbon hugger now.
Where does it all end?

It’s £15 to send to USA. And the carbon part is £60 then you have to change to dollars. Total £75Fitz wrote: Fri Feb 22, 2019 11:27 pmProbably cost prohibitive, do you have a cost to USA? Your bike looks great dude! I'm curious, did the "S" mid-pipe come coated black, that looks badass. Heal guards look good too.Kylinski wrote: Sun Feb 24, 2019 5:50 pm Fitted my carbon heel guards before today’s ride in unseasonably warm weather in the U.K.

Painted with engine paint. Brushed it on but once dried it looks sprayed on. Heat from the exhaust bakes the paint on.
I’m going for a “stealth” look. Notice the rear brake pedal and footpegs are gloss black, as is the gear shift lever. I also wrapped the rear shock adjuster with satin black wrap.
This weekend I’m replacing the silver faring bolts with black ones which arrived today from Kawasaki.

Re: Carbon or black heel guards
I like the stealth look too. Painted the pegs, foot break and shift lever on several of mine in the past with black engine enamel like that, always thought they looked better that way. Great job, your pipe looks really good like that too. My 1st Kawasaki Z1 ( about 40 years ago) was just about coated in Black Chrome. I was working in a plating shop and we had just got a black chrome tank set up in Nashville, Tennessee. The owner was wanting to experiment with the black chrome so I started taking parts off,, before we were done I had lower fork tubes, swingarm, handlebars, engine covers, front and rear fenders and more black chromed looked sharp as hell. People would ask me what the hell it was because nobody had seen it back then. Never was a chrome fan but polished aluminum, black chrome and later black powdercoating was what I thought looked good.

I've got the same Scorpion can - did you just mask the pop rivet bands, and the lower cap and paint them? With the same engine paint?
And what did you do to the springs?
Was the Scorpion branded sticker easy to remove (did in need a heat gun)?
The rear pegs, was that just a rattle can with gloss black?
Thanks man, I'm trying to go on the same journey as you with the black stealth!!
