Yea i too saw that post by vcycle keeping the afr safe. Avg stock bike is making 165whp, avg flashed/bolton bike is making 230whp. So why is 240 so hard to believe?
To me there was never any doubt that Brock's tuned H2SX is making 240WHP, the only thing that gets to me is he's claiming a 72WHP gain over a tune and a slip-on by comparing an old dyno chart done in totally different atmospheric conditions to this new tune.

Was is too complicated to do a fresh baseline run right before the tune and the slip-on so us consumers could actually have a true comparison? Could an explanation be provided? I have watched the video cOoTeR posted several times in the past and found it very interesting and educational, but it's like it was totally forgotten by even himself after posting his "240 Hp SLEEPER" video..
Yea i get the conditions difference but it made 168whp as the base run which was stock, wasnt it? Thats the avg everyone is putting down. So if avg is 168 and he made 240 which isnt unbelieveable, whats the problem? Again people are hung up on this 72hp gain because of the conditions but people are making 65whp gain with the same mods and tuning. So people are throwing a fit over 7whp?

You don't get the condition differences apparently. He got 168hp in shitty conditions then compares it to a run done in "disneyland" conditions. If he had done the baseline under the same conditions he most likely wouldn't have started with 168. That's the issue. That combined with comparing the bikes power on the rev limiter to power on a higher rev limit. Both comparisons are apples to orangutans.

Who has gotten 65hp with a slip on, air filter and tune?

His rev bump is 300rpms higher then most other, pretty much any other tune I've seen. So it will make more power than other tunes. BUT as the bike heats up that +300rpm is most likely going hurt power when the knock sensors start kicking in. You can make the bike make high power for 2-4 runs by starting with it cooled off but once the boost temps start climbing it's going to pull power. I suspect that may be going on here.

We had a temporary warm up today, so I put the bike back to stock today and then systematically added the items used in our video.

Same day testing... within a 90-minute time frame:

Awesome. Thank you I really thought the 20° temperature change would have had a greater effect on the stock bike. I was expecting more than a 6hp difference with higher heat and humidity.

Does the power stay pretty consistent with the 800rpm higher rev bump when the bike starts getting hot?

I edited an earlier post by adding the following update to it.
I was wrong, I thought the big temperature difference would have had a greater effect on the results. Brock took the time to put the bike back to stock run it again then did comparative follow up runs with the mods. The difference was relatively small.

I'm still curious what happens to the bike under worst case situations with the 13,300+ redline. I've seen my bike make great power with a more aggressive tune but once it gets hot on multiple pulls in a row the power drops 8 to 10hp. Going with safer timing the bike dropped about 4hp but stayed consistent at that power level for several pulls. With the higher redline comes higher boost which I would think would be more likely to cause this to happen. But if they've been able to tune the higher boost to make consistent safe power that's really impressive.

Im finding the humidity is actually a bigger factor then temperature. My guess is that by the time it gets through the supercharger and squeezed in the airbox that the starting temperature is not as big a deal as the humidity that is taking up room in the air and therefore the air is not as dense and the less density is magnified by the fact we are squeezing it. Not as much air to squeeze.

you cant completly compare runs on a dyno to riding on the road. There is not as much air flowing around the bike to cool it off and no stream of fresh air being pushed into the air box. The bike is going to be more sensative to high AIT on the dyno.
