anyone order anything from powerbronze?

Post by Snakes709 » Thu Jan 10, 2019 10:56 pm

Has anyone from Canada or USA ordered from powerbronze? What was the wait time on your order before it was shipped? I ordered a tail tidy kit on Dec 21 and have yet to even receive a order confirmation. Received the paypal receipt for the transaction but nothing from powerbronze confirming the order or shipping the order. Sent them 5 emails and no reply. Debating filing a dispute with paypal to get money refunded.

I did, I'm from Canada. Order took 2 months and they shipped me the wrong color windscreen due to a glitch in their system. The replacement windscreen came within 1 month. So 3 months total. Windscreen cost me 200$+ with duties, you will get charged duties upon import with thier carrier.

It came UPS? I refuse any and all order that come via UPS as their COD are scams.

I just checked the tracking number and it actually was with USPS. Maybe I just got unlucky and the package got checked by the CBA? But I definitly did have to pay tax and duties upon arrival.

It normally depends on the shipper. But i have never had cod with usps/canada, fedex, dhl or puralator. Only one i get hit with cod is ups. And i asked them what are the rates based on. They told me it was size, demenions and weight. Well i called bs on that because i ordered intake valves for my evox. Got nailed with cod, month later i ordered the exhaust valves. Same size and weight box as the intake valves and the cod was $30 more.

I ordered a screen and it took about two months to get it to Texas.

I’m part of another group where several folk had bad experiences, from delivery to quality / poor fit and their reputation wasn’t great.

For a tail tidy? I heard of bad reviews on windscreens.

I dealt with powerbronzeusa.com a couple years back getting some bits for a new Street Triple. Mainly a hugger and some swingarm slider/spools. I don't recall it taking a huge amount of time to get to me. But, they did ship the wrong spools. The bolts were too small for the threaded inserts in the swingarm. And the hugger required me to bend/adjust a couple metal tabs to truly fit. They sent the correct spools fairly quickly.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity
