10K miles here since May. The only issues I have seen is rust starting at the corners and recesses in the frame, black clutch fluid, darkening brake fluid.
Pretty much my experience too in 13k miles.
The black parts of the front fairing are taking a bit of a beating due to following distances on group rides, and a multitude of small stones on Missouri roads.
Air filters need to be serviced often due to the vacuum nature of the supercharger.
Tires are short lived, no matter what type I'm using. Though, I did this on my Sprint ST as well.
I have noticed a couple of the rubber grommets in the rearset mounts are squished out past the bolts. Shotty assembly, or bad parts, I haven't decided.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

I have noticed rust on the chain at 1400 miles. Now to clarify this, I have been riding on UK damp, salty roads. Each time I finish a ride I hose the bike down properly. I suspect, not having ridden in winter before, that I am not oiling the chain enough and I reckon I should be doing this after each run and wash.
Pro-tip: As soon as you get home, get in the habit of giving your chain a clean with a rag and a cleaner of your choice (me, its kerosene) and then lube it. Takes all of 5mins. It is always best to clean and lube your chain when it is hot. I got lazy in the past few years on my other bike and when I returned from a buggy dirty ride, I would give it a quick wash then leave it in the garage and do the chain maintenance the next day.
End result..........rust spots on the chain, and a lot more work cleaning it

Question for y'all. At 1 mile on the ODO my clutch fluid was dark. I'm coming up on my 1st service this week. Should i have it changed while they're working on it? Is it concerning it was dark from the dealer?

As to the paint, I have no issues so far. 8500 miles.
But I preserved the paint with ceramic coating when new, it can do a difference.
Gadus, please tell me more.
Also, Viperboy, in this link, brings up frame plugs. Seemed a good idea. I siliconed mine in.

Mine was dark very shortly after delivery. The dealer said it was some sort of dye and not to worry. It did clear up sometime later.

I let a professonal car care company do the job on my bike, but you can easily do it yourself.

There are several products on the market, I don't know the difference between them.
The ceramic coating leaves a glass hard coating on your paint and protects against scratches and small rocks hitting your fairing.
Other benefits is that the bike is very easy to wash, and the paint gets very shiny!

Yes, he talks about the rear wheel bearings. Mine totally collapsed after 12 000 miles. The bearings were in bits and pieces.
This was caused by too little lubrication from the factory.
