Re: INTERCOOLER tester needed.
R&D bike is mine, Travis has been working on it for a couple months now. Very anxiously waiting to get it back. Hopefully it will be done soon and have some results. Bike is back together but apparently still waiting to dyno it.

Re: INTERCOOLER tester needed.
I have mine 3/4 of the way installed and will be able to do some testing this week,
I was communicating with Travis when he was tuning your bike firebird
he was able to apply quite a bit more timing with the intercooler and it stayed consistent several runs in a row, im very impressed and will be able to back up his results when I test on my bike

Re: INTERCOOLER tester needed.
I thought you did the tune on his bike. Curious what your tune will be like with adding a intercooler in and raising the timing.vcyclenut wrote: Sat May 25, 2019 3:52 pm I have mine 3/4 of the way installed and will be able to do some testing this week,

Re: INTERCOOLER
By the time you fix it, your bike should be good as new. I would keep it after having all that work done. At least enjoy it a bit longer.Nceb wrote: Thu May 12, 2022 3:32 pm So my bike was minimally leaking coolant and trailered it to the a dealership near me. They discovered that it was slowly leaking from the plenum and because it's aftermarket, they will not be able to service it. I will be picking it up today and will ask where exactly it was leaking from and see where this leads too. I found intercooler's installation guide (https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/review?u ... #pageNum=1), so I'll use that a guide to find where the leak is coming from...Wish me luck. If anyone has any tips, please feel free to share.
I've had this bike in the shop more than I've rode it. I might be parting ways with it soon after I fix this coolant leak. It does have an extended warranty on it for the next July 2025. I really enjoy this bike too.

Re: INTERCOOLER
So was intercooling worth it in the end?
There is also an Australian company selling a similar water/air intercooler, where you modify the plenum yourself.
