Nice Job!

Looks amazing. Very cool how it chromes up like that in the sun and then flat black at different angles.

Yah the H2R with 300 hp would be a crazy mess compared to the SE. I would give it a go for sure

Cant wait for profile pics with the bags on

With the new bracket, and these pictures, I'd really like to hear if Brock's is going to mate this can with their stainless headers. I think that would be perfect for those of us wanting some weight reduction, but a little leery of long term(touring) abuses on titanium headers.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

according to their FB post the Alien headers will be stainless. even if the predator doesn't mate up to it all you would probably need is a custom connector fabbed up to mate up to it with the proper angles.

That is what I am talking about. That header mated to this can. Because the can they displayed in that Alien header setup just looks too much like a drag megaphone for me. Not my style, lol

reading through wanted to chime in on two things

if your going to do the slip on without getting an ecu flash to disable the pair valve at least plug off the line that runs down to the pair valve. This will minimize fresh air getting into the exhaust port to burn off the unburnt fuel and lower exhaust temps.

if you have my tune for the slip on and switch back to the stock exhaust the bike will run fine. It will be a little rich in areas but that is not going to hurt anything and you probably wont even be able to tell the difference

Update: New bracket received and fitted. Panniers now fit fine. Will add a bit of heat shield and I’m pretty confident it’ll be good to go. Great work Brock!!

Hey Kiwi,

When you have the time would you be able to take a picture of the side of the bike at a lower angle (straight on) just to get a better look? right now it looks like the can is pointing into the bag.

Thanks!

Here’s some more I took when fitting. Let me know if you’d like more.

Did you ever get the bracket installed from brock, and does he have it available? Having the same issue with mine too....

So here's the problem with Brock's Predator slip-on and hardbags, after just installing mine. You can't even install the bags with the Predator slip-on, as the feet on the bottom of the bag (that are used when you rest the bag on the ground) interfere with the exhaust. These are pictures with the bag on as far as I could get (just resting in place). I was unable to even fully get the right side bag on and lock it.

That being said, the bags might work if you cut the feet off the bottom of the right side bag (don't really want to do). Supposedly Brock's is working on a new hanger bracket design. I will wait it out and see what comes. I took a chance and knew it. Otherwise this will be going up for sale to someone who doesn't run bags.

It's a great looking slip-on.
On Vcycle's setup, I cut off 1" of the rear end of the bikes, mid-pipe, and used a custom bracket.
