Why haven't any of the motorcycle magazines interviewed James Hillier

Post by cOoTeR » Wed Jan 03, 2018 11:30 pm

It's been almost 2 months since the H2 SX was released and so far there has been 1 review on it (that was quickly taken down). It's been about a month since any new articles have come out about the H2 SX.

It's well known that James Hillier was the rider in Kawasaki H2 SX SE video. Why hasn't anyone in the press asked him about his impressions on it? I'm sure he signed some kind of non-disclosure agreement for before the bike was released. But why would Kawasaki not want him to give his opinion of it? He is still a Kawasaki factory rider as far as I know so it's not like he's going to go out and bad mouth the bike. How's it any different than the Kawasaki reps doing interviews at eicma taking about it?

We will probably have a deluge of articles about it right when the bikes start showing up in dealers. as far as I know there hasn't been an h2 sx press junkette yet where they invite press to do testing in a exotic and warm place. doesn't mean it hasn't happened, but probably waiting until some date to be allowed to publish.

kawasaski seems very tight with this bike

Maybe there wont be any reviews on this bike prior to release, maybe it will sell itself. Either way we should see something in the next month or two because people will have them in there garages!

The lack of information over the past tow months is kind of discouraging. The Z900RS was announced reviews released and they are in dealers. SX gets nothing other than some YT videos of it sitting under lights.
