New cheap exhaust option.

Not trying to be a dick, but why the hell do people get "offended" or upset about the exhaust options that some bring to the forum. This forum is about sharing ideas and we all have our own on what looks, sounds or performs great on "OUR" personal bikes. Our bikes, our $$$$$...

these are the same people who drop $3000 on a full system, $1000 in carbon fiber, all kinds of crazy mods, but leave all the stickers and reflectors on their bikes. they just confused

nah man. Not like that at all. All the stickers and front reflectors are off my bike. Rear ones will be gone when I find a fender eliminator I like. And unless that 3000 exhaust is proven to increase power and lower weight way more then any other option, ill go my own route. Just not a $30 ebay exhaust. The H2's deserve more then that. Me personally, im looking at the zx10r headers and yoshimura alpha exhaust. Will increase power and drop a shit load of weight for the fraction of the price.

A good "inexpensive" exhaust alternative is to put the 2011 ZX10R header on, get a mid pipe from Delkevic and a can of your choice. You will need 5mm spacers for the ZX10R header, but they are easy to make.

Do you have a link to the midpipe. I checked their site and couldnt find anything.

I had to call them to get mine. They do not list it, but sell it separate if you call.

Give it a break, doesn't matter how much your bike cost or your exhaust, if it is what you want than go for it and don't pay any attention to naysayers. Guys, share your ideas cause someone out there will appreciate what your bringing, we all can't like exactly the same but we could all be a little more tolerant of other's choices. Peace!

Still planning on buying the spacers from you when I get paid at the end of the month. I couldn't pass up a great black Friday deal on a yoshimura alpha slip on for the ZX10R's. Going back to the Delkevic midpipe you mentioned. Is there any pictures of that on our bike? Been searching on the forum and cant find any.

My plan was to buy the same Yoshi Alpha 3/4 system I bough for my ZX10R and hoped it would fit (doubtful), if it didn't I would go to a shop where they would do a custom midpipe. I decided to not go that exact route as its doubtful the 3/4 system would clear everything and costs $1065cdn. I just picked up a slip on for $684cdn. Now I'm trying to plan what route im going for the mid pipe. If the Delkevic midpipe will work with the zx10r headers and the Yoshi slip on for the zx10r, im set. Will just need a o2 bung for a wideband o2 sensor.

As long as we are throwing our 2 cents worth in I reckon all slips ons are a waste of money and vain. Full system that saves weight and + performance or stick with the oem... any slip on is a bit of a wank for that sake of extra noise imho
