Chain Adjustment Wrench

Post by theoldone » Wed Oct 24, 2018 5:51 pm

Plan on doing my own maintenance and have been looking through the service manual to see if I need anything special for common items. The one item I noticed was a special tool for the chain adjustment, running the Kawasaki part number they want $160 for it. It appears to me to be just a spanner wrench. Does anyone have a link to a tool that will perform the job that is one hell of a lot cheaper than $160?

See this thread - Chain adjustment, are they serious?

I already had a MotoMFG Ducati chain adjuster tool that I bought for my Triumph Sprint ST a few years back. It fits the H2 SX eccentric perfectly. For the H2 SX the one to buy is the CH-10 chain adjusting tool for Ducati 748, 916, 996, 998, etc. $15.99
