H2sx v H2sxse

Post by crj007 » Sun Oct 21, 2018 11:48 pm

Hi
A quick question...
I am in the process of possibly buying a H2sx. I'm not a gadget man as I'm coming from a Honda blackbird and was wondering if it's worth paying the extra £3k for the SE as oppose to the standard SX? I prefer the all black/metallic grey colour also.

Any feedback, much appreciated.
Thanks

To me the quick shifter and heated grips are worth the price. The TFT display is pretty cool too.

I have a blackbird and love my SE. The extras you won't miss because you don't have them now. But omg I'm glad I have them. Quick shifter is my favorite, but heated grips are a joy. I could go on. If your really wanting opinions spend the extra. Will a few grand jury that much? If you can afford it do it.

As an SX SE owner, I think the quickshifter, cruise control, display and heated grips were definitely worth the cost to me, but to each their own. I am a feature/gadget guy, and I get good use out of those features. I like having a center stand, especially for chain maintenance. It also makes loading/unloading the side cases easier. The cornering lights are extremely cool, but moderately useful. The Kawi launch control is cool, but not very useful at all. Personally, I think the SE green is one of the best greens that Kawi has done recently. It's kind of a light forest with just a bit of flake. It gets noticed.

Like you said " prefer the all black/metallic grey colour also". That was actually the reason why i did not buy the SE. I was not the 3.000 euro.
Love the back color much more (sorry for SE riders) and think it's more timeless, but that's how i feel it.
I don't miss the most of the extra stuff like cornering light (ride 99% in daylight), launch control, centre stand, TFT screen. For the centre stand i will use a paddock stand.
I added heatgrips for less dan 100 euro , power bronze screen, added rim stripes for 23 euro to show a little green. :D
But it's more personal feeling if you buy the budget bike or the SE. Both are great, no the best !!!!

I also prefer the all black version but in my country only the SE is sell. But the TFT, quickshifter Up & Down, Center Stand, Heated Grips, Launch Control, Cornering lights, Higher Windscreen, Braided lines, Wheel alu style are really a plus for me. If one day something happen to the painting. I would do a covering carbon.

Really worth it the 3000€ extra

get the SE! The quick shifter gives you a magic carpet ride on the Autobahn! The TFT dash is cool, too! Do yourself the favor, bite the bullet, spend the extra cash. I never considered buying the H2 SX, when I saw te SE! And, never regretted it, since!

i bought it just for the Quick shifter and let me tell you even that alone worth the price, i was here debating about buying an H2 Sx version but end up buying H2 SX SE as the prices get better.
