Test Ride

Post by crj007 » Sun Oct 21, 2018 11:17 pm

Hi
I'm new here and contemplating a H2SX from my current Honda Blackbird.

I'm taking one out for a test ride next weekend to see if I get on with it. I noticed in the dealers when I popped my leg over it that if I placed the ball of my foot on the foot peg to avoid catching toes in corners when cranked over my heel touched the rear pegs, at least I thought thats what it was. Has anyone any experience of this? Or comments on any restrictions when carrying a pillion?

Also how much luggage will the panniers hold? Enough for a two week trip????

Any comments much appreciated

Thanks

Hi. I never ride two up, so I can't comment on that. The heels of my boots do sometimes touch the rear peg mounts, but it doesn't bother me at all. As for the cases, it's a really subjective question. I could carry enough for a two week trip if I traveled light, but it depends on how heavy you pack, how much gear you're packing, whether you're camping, how cold the temps are, etc.
