Since we would be getting a wonderfully balmy autumn day on last Sunday I spontaneously planned for this ride through Germany north of where I live:

When starting early in the morning, the Autobahns, going north, are notoriously empty, especially on Sundays.
I fell out of bed well rested at around 6:00 AM, already fuelled by the adrenaline for today’s undertaking. Had breakfast and packed my SW Motech Speedbag with a few essentials (06:47am): my trusty Fanny Pack (with IDs and Wallet), Powerbank for phone and helmet intercom, water and potential boosters for the last leg home („Una lata de red bull“ and a PowerSmoothie).
Captured the sunrise on the way I usually ride to work (7:44am):
First stop (8:02am) at the Rastplatz „InDerBoeck“ on the A44 to yet again whitness the rising of a star:
You fellow H2SXSE rider’s can choose which star I mean ;-)
After a tremendously empty stretch of the A57 and A31 at higher speeds, I dramatically ran out of gas and had to leave the Autobahn to fill up in Reken near Coesfeld at a gas station in the countryside. After that I blasted up to Leer! Arriving at 10:39am.
After topping off the gas in Leer, I had a second fast food breakfast and headed for Oldenburg. The A28 to Bremen was still pretty empty at that time, but I took a short break for „Orange Juice in Oldenburg“ at 12:12pm.
