I've had it happen when just leaning into a fast sweeper with smooth throttle application.Burmashave wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 12:50 amI've had something similar happen. It seemed not so much related to lean angle as quick changes of direction that seem to cause the throttle to close slightly.HouTexH2SX wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 12:42 amYes, I have. Seems that the lean angle sensor keeps you in check whether you like it or not!cOoTeR wrote: Sat Oct 27, 2018 1:00 am Has anyone noticed the cruise control letting the speed drop if you lean the bike over too far? I had the cruise control set at 60mph and when going around a corner it was like the throttle was closed and the speed dropped to 57mph. Every time I leaned the bike over past the halfway mark on the lean gauge it did it.

Burmashave wrote: Tue Oct 16, 2018 10:43 pm While we're on the topic of cruise control help, my minor annoyance with this system is that a momentary press on either the accel or deccel buttons does not bump the speed up or down by 1 MPH as is the case for all the late model cars I have driven with cruise. The manual actually states that a momentary press should bump it up or down:
Has anyone else noticed this or figured out how to bump it up/down in increments? It's easy to hold the button down, but then you have to watch the speedo to get it exactly right.H2 SX SE Owner's Manual, page 185 wrote:When the RES/+ button is released

My second minor annoyance is that the "Set" indication doesn't show the set speed unless you manually crank the throttle up 4-5 MPH above the set speed.
I find "double clicking" quickly on the buttons works 100% for 1 up or down.

Re: Cruise control help
Wow. I won't be able to check this until next season, and so, I do have a follow up question. Does the mean that pushing the button 4 times in quick succession would bump the speed 2 MPH? If so, I would wonder that the increments are actually 1 KPH instead of 1 MPH.Tefal wrote: Wed Oct 31, 2018 1:33 am I find "double clicking" quickly on the buttons works 100% for 1 up or down.

Re: Cruise control help
I've pushed the button 4 or 5 times in quick succession and still only got 1 mph change. I think the double click works just like pressing it once for slightly longer, but not long enough to engage the continuous change feature. I have pushed once sometimes for too little time and got nothing--sounds like the double click would fix this.Burmashave wrote: Wed Oct 31, 2018 2:02 amWow. Re: Cruise control help
Just to resurrect this thread, someone else posted something about pausing when incrementing the set speed with the + and - buttons, and I've done some more playing around with CC.
So it seems to me that a momentary press on the + or - buttons does increment the speed by 1 MPH. Repeated presses do nothing; however if I pause 1-2 seconds between presses, it increments again. Weird.

If you keep the shifter button depressed, speed increases until button released and vice versa.

That part we get and works as expected. Check my post quoted above about incrementing by 1 MPH.

Re: Cruise control help
This weekend I tried to set the cruise at 85mph and it would NOT go above 75mph. Nothing I did would allow me to set or "+" the cruise above 75mph....Champ87 wrote: Tue Oct 16, 2018 7:51 pmNo. The software doesn't give vcyclenut the option to change Cruise Control limit. Here in US we are stuck with 85.Fitz wrote: Tue Oct 16, 2018 7:36 pm Does the awesome reflash guys ecu that fixes so many things possibly able to raise that? As in I press long enough until the speedo displays the increase though as you say, it is weird.
The impression I have, is one of a basic system which works slowly as basic chips can do. Similar to confusing then freezing your phone or TV by jabbing away too quickly on the touchscreen or buttons.
