I would like to know if anybody has put a set of "Tampons" on their bike yet? They are the best looking IMHO but do they work and what are they made of?

Tampax Tampons are made from the same ingredients as most other feminine care products on the market, as the primary ingredients used in include purified cotton and rayon. Tampax Pure and Clean differs as it includes a 100% cotton core and are uniquely designed to provide anti-leak protection, comfort, and discretion.Zdude wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 7:29 pm I would like to know if anybody has put a set of "Tampons" on their bike yet? It is a name I would consider changing if it was my company -LOL. Kawasaki's are not known for leaking but you could probably sell a boatload of them at a Harley rally!motoman wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 7:32 pmTampax Tampons are made from the same ingredients as most other feminine care products on the market, as the primary ingredients used in include purified cotton and rayon. In a serious attempt here, has anyone used these before?

I don’t plan on putting any on mine.. but if I was going to, woodcraft all the way. I used their clip ons and case saver with slider in the past. Stuff was top notch in quality. I got compliments on the clip ons all the time from people at bike meets. They were a deep bronze color.

Re: What frame sliders do people like?
These engine guards are made by a french company Top Block. http://shop.top-block.com/en/h2sx/654-e ... 10-16.html . I have a set of Top Block engine guards on My Concours 14. They are expensive, very well made and good looking. Purchasing them can be a challenge as there are few dealers in the US that can get them.Zdude wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 9:30 pmIt is a name I would consider changing if it was my company -LOL. Re: What frame sliders do people like?
No worries guys, French being my first language, I can safely say that tampon translates to ''buffer'' in this sentence. The brand is actually called Top BlockZdude wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 9:30 pmIt is a name I would consider changing if it was my company -LOL. I would purchase these if they didn't cost and arm and three legs.

Re: What frame sliders do people like?
Did you get installation instructions when they shipped your sliders from T-Rex? I can't locate any online and I don't see them on the T-Rex site.windjammer47 wrote: Fri Feb 22, 2019 6:36 pmJonTheChron wrote: Wed Feb 20, 2019 1:34 amcould you post a pic please?windjammer47 wrote: Tue Feb 19, 2019 9:57 pm T-Rex racing make an awesome slider that looks great. Price is right at around 110$USD. I got the green ones and they match my SX SEs paint great!
