What frame sliders do people like?
Well yesterday didnt go well. Lost my footing coming out of a parking lot and with my back injury i had 0 chance of holding the bike up and dropped it.
Scratched up my right fairing, little bit on my mirror and a little bit on the heat shield to the muffler. Gonna replace my fairing as I cant find anyone to repaint it. I will also be ordering frame sliders. I know their main purpose to protect the frame but any protection to the fairings would be awesome. Heard the oem ones arent the greates which leaves woodcraft and r&g. I’m aiming more towards woodcraft. What fo you guys think.

Re: What frame sliders do people like?
Snakes709, I have the Woodcraft sliders I bought from vcyclenut. I like the look and design and am happy to report I have not dropped the bike (yet) at any speed to test their ability. My general concern is to not attach something called a "frame slider" to the frame which ends up tweaking the frame when/if a tip-over happens.Snakes709 wrote: Mon Oct 15, 2018 4:55 pm Well yesterday didnt go well. Never used them just wanted to say I am sorry to hear of your damage - I hope the repair is quick and done well so you can get going again.

After hearing the report of the Kawi one's shattering on tip over, I've invested in the Woodcraft ones, purchased from our very own vcyclenut. Haven't installed them yet, but hope to find the time soon.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

T-Rex racing make an awesome slider that looks great. Price is right at around 110$USD. I got the green ones and they match my SX SEs paint great!

Re: What frame sliders do people like?
@vcyclenut sells the Woodcraft ones, which appear to be of high quality

T-REX seems to be the brand many H2 owners go with.

the OEM are nice but we have seen from our members pics they won't survive a tip-over.

Puig also seems to make a nice product:

Personally I was hoping that Evotech-Performance would come out with this .. for the H2SX
