Depending on where you connect you may be looking for Red/Green and Gray wires. They're the colors on the switch side. I think the color change occurs at that connector highlighted in the pic I posted (but I haven't verified that). Those colors would then run from the connector up the handlebar to the switch housing. If you connect harness side then it's the Brown/White and Red wires you mentioned earlier.

Color wiring diagram for H2 SX SE other than US, CA and CAL

Attached zip file contains a color version of the wiring diagram for the non-US versions of the H2 SX SE. There aren’t many differences so it was an easy enough task to produce this version.

Differences between US, CA and CAL versions of the H2 SX SE and non-US versions are:
  • Immobilizer System (not present on US, CA and CAL bikes)
  • Ignition Switch - non-US bikes have a “PARK” position. US bikes don’t have that so to use the hazard light requires key-in and ignition on (which seems kinda dumb). US bikes have a security feature built into the ignition switch – not necessary on bikes with the immobilizer.
Hope this helps

8/26/2021 - Updated version with minor correction to labels

Edit 11/4/2018: colored wiring diagram for US, CA and CAL models is attached in this thread

I've uploaded new versions of the wiring diagrams to correct a minor error with one of the labels in previous versions.

Click here for the updated color wiring diagram for US models (without immobilizer)

Click here for the updated color wiring diagram for Non-US models (with immobilizer)

These wiring diagrams are for the SE.

Thank you so much!

I have a question about voltages since I am trying to identify a wire in particular.
I got a Scorpio- SRX-950 alarm.
I need to find either the rear brake light live wire or the license plate live wire. But I have no idea which one is the one I need. What color and what voltage it uses. It should be 12 V but sometimes led lights use less voltage and that will not work for the alarm.

Any idea what wire and color of wire is the one I need to tap into?

Thank you.

Fernando.

Wire for the license plate light is Red/Blue. The easiest place to tap into it is at the rear of the bike on the left side. It is a 12V supply but keep in mind it is switched so no feed when the ignition is off.

If you haven't removed the side panels before then check out my Fairing Removal Aid. There is a section at the end describing side panel removal.

Color wiring diagram for the SE+ 2019 - 2021 (ZX1002D) with immobilizer

Here in US, you can pay $140 for a Kawasaki service manual that contains black and white wiring diagrams that are really difficult to read. Luckily, H2SXRiders.net now has wiring diagrams for the SE+ in glorious, cheerful color. Lots of colors :D And free.

OK, the bikes are a few years old now, but until recently, I didn't have a pdf version of the service manual to pull the original wiring diagram. A big thanks to Pasis for posting up a pdf version to the manual for the SE+. Without that, I could not have produced these wiring diagrams.

The biggest change since I posted the original SE color diagrams earlier in this thread, is the addition of the KECS system. There are also some changes to the left switch housing to accommodate slightly different arrangement of the mode selection buttons. I didn't notice any other changes, although it's quite possible there are some minor revisions or changes to wire colors.

As well as adding color, I've also added labels for the ECU and Meter connections. There are two versions of the wiring diagram. The first one, attached to this post, is for bikes fitted with an immobilizer system. The other is for bikes without an immobilizer - I think that may just be models for US and Canada.
