Amazing! Good job!
I highlighted a few circuits for my own use, but you went a whole level above!

Re: SE Wiring Diagram in glorious color
Here’s an updated version of the colored wiring diagram. Labels have been added to show terminal numbers/names for the ECU connectors.
This update also includes a correction. The power to the Quick Shifter Sensor should be a Blue/Yellow wire. It was previously shown as Black/Yellow – that would indicate a ground wire. Not that it would bother anyone (other than me).
8/26/2021 - Updated version with minor correction to labels
Edit 11/4/2018: I have added another attachment containing colored wiring diagram for non-US models. Click here to jump to that post.

Thanks! Did you do this yourself? I once used Illustrator to color a diagram for my Honda, but not of this quality.

Nice work.
Thanks for doing this.
I really appreciate it. I am sure I'll be referring to this at some point in the bike's future.

Re: SE Wiring Diagram in glorious color
Glad to see a few others like the idea. I'm getting plenty of good information from this forum so I like to payback when I can.
I'm planning a winter project for some electrical mods. Using the original B&W wiring diagram in the manual was hard work – it looks very congested. The individual circuit diagrams are much easier to follow but my project requires connections to several different circuits. I started marking up the parts I was interested in. That was the base for this diagram - all it needed was a bunch of 2nd graders and a few boxes of Crayola to complete.

Awesome thank you. It lobs like I can use the Brown/ white or Red wire coming out of the start/run switch to wire in my tether kill switch. That'll save me a little time trying to figure out what wires are what.

Yes, I'm not familiar with how you connect the tether switch but connector for the right switch housing in located in the nose fairing below the instruments. I can tell you what type of connector it is if that helps in any way.cOoTeR wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 12:53 amIt lobs like I can use the Brown/ white or Red wire coming out of the start/run switch to wire in my tether kill switch.

Re: SE Wiring Diagram in glorious color
Top install the tether switch you have to cut one of the kill switch wires and wire the tether into the circuit. The plug on the tether switch is basically a wire loop and when it's pulled out it opens the circuit.Champ87 wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 2:35 amYes, I'm not familiar with how you connect the tether switch but connector for the right switch housing in located in the nose fairing below the instruments.
