Electrical connector sleeves

Post by terrordbn » Wed Oct 10, 2018 7:58 pm

I was looking to use similar black sleeves on my wiring that are used to protect the electrical connectors on my motorcycle. But looking through the parts diagrams, I cannot find a reference to these sleeves/boots/dust covers. Does anyone know what they are called?

I feel a little *embarrassed* asking. LOL. It will probably be completely obvious after I'm told where to find them..

Any help appreciated!

Thanks!

Surprised not to see them on the parts diagrams but, like you said, they're not there. I wonder how a dealer would order if he needed some for an accident repair.

Several aftermarket suppliers have them. These are available from cycleterminal.com:

These boots usually come as part of the wiring harness and are rarely available from the OEM.
