Re: They have arrived!!!
I do not have a stock or baseline graph...when the bike had it's first service I had it flashed by the dealers H2 guy...and then after the exhaust and few other bits it got 're tuned again.
I do not know the afr.....I do know that on F power mode it's as thirsty af and throws a plume of black exhaust as v4 penagale's, s1000rr's, R1M's and other try hards disappear in the rear view mirrors lol....

Re: They have arrived!!!
No baseline? Something sounds fishy here, it's pretty risky flashing a bike without putting it on a dyno. Did they develop their flash on another H2 SX SE? If so what did it put down stock?2HYPR wrote: Fri Oct 05, 2018 5:06 pm I do not have a stock or baseline graph...when the bike had it's first service I had it flashed by the dealers H2 guy...and then after the exhaust and few other bits it got 're tuned again.

Re: They have arrived!!!
This is where it starts? Something is fishy? I did not do the tuning I do not have a baseline graph....I would imagine the tuner who I paid money for does....BUT I'll just say this...I will not be chasing around for graphs to prove a point on an internet forum most importantly a base line graph.
I am sorry if other owners went a different method/path and did not achieve similar results....but dyno numbers in my years of motor racing experience are a pretty dumb thing to use as the one and only defining factor of performance.
Dyno s serve a purpose to tune...there are ways to bodge them if dyno numbers are your need to prove penis size in a pissing contest.
Un sprung weight, suspension tuning, brake performance and tyre choice in bike and car modding sadly are never talked about as much...but that is where real world performance is achieved.
I use a carbon fibre helmet to save .5kg, I installed a lithium battery to pick up 3kg, the exhaust saved like 11kg... it's all about the weight....less to accelerate, less to turn, less to stop.
In general people who go on and on about a dyno figure indicate to me a real lack of knowledge in the field of performance.
I know that this bike has more than the dyno indicates, all kawasaki numbers are with fan forced air in the intake - this was static air....but I don't need to chase a graph to make myself happy...riding the bike makes me happy and I am very gratefull to my tuner and suppliers (vandemon, BST etc) who took my not insignificant bundles of money and supplied me with exceptional services and products.
End of story

Re: They have arrived!!!
I agree. Every dyno reads different. I went to a dyno day and put down 189whp on my 2016 zx14r with full exhaust and tune. Those are stock numbers and the bike was a fuck alot faster then stock. I’m all about weight reduction. People dont get how much it drastically changes the bike.

1 kg= 2.2lbs,so 3kg =6.6lbs total loss2HYPR wrote: Fri Oct 05, 2018 1:31 amAbout 1.5kg static weight reduction per rim... but that (because physics) is a shit ton of rotational mass savings...Drnick wrote: Wed Oct 03, 2018 7:28 pm Nice wheels,so what is the actual difference in total weight between the stock wheels and what u just bought ?..

Pretty defensive there. But since different dynos read different the baseline well give an idea of the gains if any. But without any baseline you could have lost power with your mods. 248whp is a bold claim. Since you're not posting any baseline numbers it must be a generous dyno. Yes the dyno is a tuning tool but it does show how much power is gained from different set ups. Seeing what works and doesn't work for other people helps other riders decide on what's worth doing and what doesn't. To me there is no reason to hide that information from others. In my experience people who just throw out a final number and hide the other information are doing things to make the dyno read higher than it normally would. You act like it takes a ton of work to get a hold of your dyno charts. I can email the tuner that tuned my 07 CBR back in 2009 or the tuner that tuned my 2012 ZX-10R in 2012 and get the charts emailed to me.2HYPR wrote: Fri Oct 05, 2018 10:15 pm This is where it starts? Weight reduction and proper set up are essential to the bikes performance but are only a few parts of the total equation. More important are riders skills. Just like with reducing weight, setting the bike up and improving rider skills adding power helps so it is noteworthy.

Liar.
I tried to see if there was an explanation for the exaggerated claim such as a happy dyno or more mods. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. But the evidence you provide leads me to believe it's an exaggerated claim even though you say that the number doesn't matter to you yet you stretch the truth or hide it.

Well I guess now that I am a liar it is worthless posting the pics and info in a thread about all the mods we did on the induction side.....

Re: They have arrived!!!
I asked you 2 days ago in this thread what other mods you had done other than the exhaust. You ignored it. I asked you in a thread a long time ago what you you were planning on modifying in the air box. You ignored it. So yes it would be pointless now since you don't even have a baseline to show if any power was gained from doing said mods. You claim you didn't build a "dyno queen" but you sure are acting like that's what you've done. Claiming numbers you can't back up or substantiate and doing secret mods that you aren't telling anyone about. Now it's my fault that you haven't shared your secret mods days later because I called you out. Get out of here if you were intending in sharing that information you would have made the thread awhile ago or at least mentioned the mods when asked about them.2HYPR wrote: Sat Oct 06, 2018 8:13 am Well I guess now that I am a liar it is worthless posting the pics and info in a thread about all the mods we did on the induction side.....
I'm guessing your baseline was really high which is why you and/or the shop is hiding that because you didn't make huge gains like you are implying by throwing out that the bike made 248whp. Yet we just have to take your word that that's true because you can only find a chart that shows you made 235whp.
