Re: 1/4 mile times?
A little better weather and changed to Michelin Power GP's on a set of BST wheels.
With the bags installed, I got a best of 10.25@145mph. Pulled the bags off and got a best of 10.09@150mph.
I need to figure out how to keep the front end down better with the stock setup to get it into the 9's as it was still trying to pull the front up between the 1/8 and 1/4 mile.

Re: 1/4 mile times?
I am no expert and could be completely wrong. But if you are trying to achieve keeping the front down without straps or slamming the front end, take preload out and add rebound. This will lower the front abit and slow the forks from extending out. I could be completely wrong but in my head it sounds right lolneb50 wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2020 6:30 pm A little better weather and changed to Michelin Power GP's on a set of BST wheels.

I haven't seen anyone take one in stock form to the 9s. Maybe I haven't been looking hard enough.

Re: 1/4 mile times?
Too heavy. Highly doubt it'll happen. Maybe a 125 pound fly weight at the controls on a perfectly prepped track on a perfect weather day might pull it off.

Hey guys, I've started taking my bike to the drags. Currently at a 10.71 but purely just need practice launching this thing. Once I've got that down pat, would love to be running similar times as you lot.JonTheChron wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2019 2:04 amKeep it up! Let's get this bike in the 9.4's! And honestly with your weight and an ecu flash I wouldn't be surprised to see the even lower times.progster wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2019 1:48 pm Slightly improved
Using Lowering strap, center stand and mirrors off, lithium battery.
Currently got a full exhaust system on it, 205hp tune and sprint filter.
What else is everyone doing to help their bikes at the drags?
Has anyone looked at changing the rear sprocket at all for a better time?
Cheers

Re: 1/4 mile times?
Friday is opening day for street legals, so as long as the weather is nice, be the first day of the year going down the 1/4 mile. Gonna put my purse down and go from krtc 2 to krtc 1 and see if i can beat my 10.4@149 with a horrible 2.0 60’.

No launch control or traction control heading out to try with that stuff on and see if I can make it leave harder. Stock bike with akra slip on

Re: 1/4 mile times?
I still suck at launching. Got out once in the last 2 years. 10.8@151mph was my best a couple weeks ago.

Re: 1/4 mile times?
What program/HW are you using to measure that? I myself have RaceBox Mini with 25Hz GPS. Been mostly testing it with 0-100kph as 1/4 mile would need closed court because speeds will go quite high with MC.H2sx506 wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 3:15 pm No launch control or traction control heading out to try with that stuff on and see if I can make it leave harder.
