According to the Owners Manual:
10w-40 oil for most environments with API SG, SH, SJ, SL, or SM with JASO MA, MA1 or MA2 ratings.
Manual recommends:
Kawasaki Performance 4-Stroke Oil
Kawasaki Performance Semi-Synthetic 4-Stroke Oil
Kawasaki Performance Full Synthetic 4-Stroke Oil
What has everyone been running in their H2SX? I am thinking of moving to Full Synthetic at my first service.
Opinions?

When I took mine to the dealer for the 600 mi check, I was going to go with Kawi full synth. I had a long chat with the mechanic who insisted that if it were his bike, he would use dino the first 2 changes until everything was fully seated in.
I just did my second change a few weeks back and went with Kawi 10w-40. I'm going to do full synth 10w-40 next change and am thinking about either the Kawi or Mobil One Racing 4T.
EDIT: I'm interested to hear opinions on the Mobil Racing 4T because it's less expensive that some other synthetics and is carried in nearby auto parts stores.

First two, Motul 2000 Dino oil. Changing again now at 6000 miles and using Motul 300V synthetic.

Second oil change Kawasaki S4-R 15w50 (the green stuff) 5400kms
Third oil change Motul 300V 10W40 11900 kms
Fourth oil change Motul 300V 10w40 18900 kms
Fifth oil change will probably also be Motul 300V

First service oil change, switched to AMSoil 20-50. Will likely change again at 3,000 miles, and use AMSoil 10-40 for the cooler months.
