I just installed one. Looks great and sounds better than stock.

The stock can is just too hideous. What were they thinking?

Does the H2SX need a retune/reflash or a Powercommander for a basic slip-on can? I know most normally aspirated bikes don't need it, but since this is an enhanced aspirated bike, thought a retune might be necessary for the slip-on.

Yoshimura says it does not. I find no performance issues.

no it will be fine with out getting any tuning done, why you wouldn't spend another $250 for 40+ plus hp , smoother throttle response ,and a more enjoyable bike im not sure, but it wont hurt the bike if you don't get it flashed

I have had my Yosh slip-on with Vcyclenut's tune for a couple of weeks now. Sound is fantastic and perfect imho, not too loud but when twisted, it has a killer, deep sound, one of the best I have owned. Looks are way, way better than the stock can and fitment is excellent but, why would you not opt for a re-flash? Bike will respond much better to throttle inputs plus you get a boost across the rpm range, it's a no-brainer, get the flash. It is a pain to get to your ecm but well worth the effort. Go for it, you'll not be sorry dude!

My concern is an impact to the warranty with a flash or aftermarket fuel mapping product. This bike is a hefty investment for me and I would hate to lose warranty coverage by trying to gain 40+HP on a motorcycle that already has 200HP. :)

I agree--I don't want to impact the warranty either since my dealer threw in the 4 year extension and I usually don't keep a bike more than 2-3 years. Another 40 HP would be lost on me anyway--this bike is already way beyond my riding abilities!
