Who has done the zx10r header conversion?

Alright i seen a few posts about the zx10r header conversion. I get what needs to be done for it to mate up with the engine. How is the fit with a can? I would love to go with the same setup i had on my 2015 zx10r. Had a Yoshimura Alpha 3/4 ment for the gen5 zx10r. Wondering how it will fit.

Not sure how that will fit. The Gen 5 ZX-10R setup is different than the Gen 4 stuff. I would doubt it would just bolt-up, but given a welder and a saw, you could surely make it work.

It fit on my gen4 with no issues. Just the mid mounting point under the rear set didnt line up, it was off by 1 inch. Everything else lined up no problem. Shitty thing is i sold my zx10r to a guy outside of alberta. If he was close by i could maybe test fit it.

So yoshimura got back to me. They have no plans for a full system for our bike. Fuck! I wanted either akrapovic or yoshimura full system. Really don't want to buy the alpha 3/4 and not have it fit.
