I installed my 10mm spacers yesterday and went for a 220 mile ride today. I can't say that they are a huge improvement but I can feel the difference especially since my Sargent modified seat keeps me sitting more toward the rear of the seat increasing the reach to the bars--the spacers help to compensate for this some.

This is what I experienced as well. Got the prototype of the new seat to test it before it gets finished. The seating position is more to the rear and the comfort is great. But the load on the handlebars is now much higher. Guess without the spacers it would be much worse. Guess I am to short for this bike and it may have to go soon ...

I fiddeled around with the handlebar spacers but 10mm is too low at leat for a guy like me.
Thought of selling the bike but prices for used bikes are already pretty low. Obviously there is not so much interest ...
Anway, I have spoken to the German company ABM (https://ab-m.de/en/motorcycle-customizi ... s-webshop/) and they will develop a Clip-on solution over the next Winter. I will provide them my bike for the development work.
Should be good :-)

Just got back from a 2,000+ mile ride from South Texas to NE Arkansas and back.
The lower pegs and handlebar spacers were a great improvement over stock.
However, the seat is due for an upgrade. I wore padded bicycle shorts under my FirstGear riding pants, but my butt is still sore...lol
I tried the AirHawk DS (dualsport) seat cushion on the first day (550 miles) and it was ok on the mostly straight roads going up, but I did not like the feeling of not being in direct contact with the bike in the Arkansas twisties.

Does Sargent or Corbin make a set for this bike?

I don't think anyone is making a custom seat for the SX; however, a few riders have gotten good results from a Sargent custom seat.

From the "Tortuous Seat Thread," this is the resulting custom Sargent seat:

Based on this request:

I plan to go this route this winter.

Tried to order a set of 10mm spacers but showing no stock at 54 usd asked for delivery date came back 7 to 10 days and 117usd think this is a bit pricey for a 10 mm lift and no take back has anyone found anything in the uk yet ???

There is nothing else than the Japanese ones.
I asked a couple of vendors but apart from ABM nobody is interested in offering a solution.
It‘s a low volume bike ...
One of the problems ist that 10mm seems to be max with the original brake hose.
Will see what ABM can do with their Clip-on system.
But this will get much more expensive than the Japanese spacers.

Will give it amother try.
As I have got a customized seat the position is basically as it was before.
With the default seat the result is most probably much better.

Is your Sargents seat specific for the H2SX? You have an early release?
