Brock’s is nice, and cheaper,I’ve had them on previous bikes, well made....if more owners of H2SX’s email Akra, yosh, and Brock’s,maybe they’ll get off there ass and make a full system!
They already make them for the H2’s!

Why do you highly recommend getting 4 new gaskets?JonTheChron wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 5:38 pmIt wasn't too bad, it took me 5 hours.silverr1 wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 11:37 am Hey Jon any immediate thoughts on the exhaust and difficulty of install?
If I were to do it again I would do it in 3. The engine coolant should be drained and the radiator disconnected. I spent too much time trying to mingle with it in place before deciding to disconnect it.
I would highly recommend getting 4x new OEM exhaust gaskets before proceding to install.
I didn't but its because I will be tearing my bike apart again this winter for ECU removal.

If they don't have a system for this bike I don't think you can say it's cheaper.Drnick wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 7:13 pm Brock’s is nice, and cheaper,I’ve had them on previous bikes, well made....if more owners of H2SX’s email Akra, yosh, and Brock’s,maybe they’ll get off there ass and make a full system!

I also need a “quiet” exhaust so brocks is no good. I live in Edmonton. The first city in north america to attempt photo radar sound tickets. Anything over 85db and you get a ticket in the mail 3 weeks after you go past the station.

85db? Isn't the stock system 93db?Snakes709 wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 9:07 pm I also need a “quiet” exhaust so brocks is no good. I live in Edmonton. Re: Vandemon,How many?
Not sure. Have yet to bring my bike through one. I hit one yestersay in my stock 2016 ram 1500. Hit 73.2db when i stomped on the gas and went through at 5000rpm. Its fucked up because the city by-law states no motorcycle shall be operated if it exceeds 91 db at idle or 96db at 2000rpm. This is still in the trial phase so no tickets being issued yet but if they go through with it, i foresee lots of tickets being thrown out.

The copper gaskets that are on there with the stock systems were visibly crushed to the pattern of the stock system. Also, service manual also says to replace them if servicing the exhaust manifold.cOoTeR wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 8:34 pmWhy do you highly recommend getting 4 new gaskets?JonTheChron wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 5:38 pmIt wasn't too bad, it took me 5 hours.silverr1 wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 11:37 am Hey Jon any immediate thoughts on the exhaust and difficulty of install?

I head crazy things about Alberta and speed enforcement. I also heard about those sound activated cameras.. that's just crazy.Snakes709 wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 11:32 pm Not sure. Oh well, my bike is Edmonton-proof at least when it comes to speeding.

Re: Vandemon,How many?
Being that sound is not visible it seems that it would be POSSIBLE that the noise came from somewhere else. So it would be impossible to prove the sound registered by the cameras came from your machine.Snakes709 wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 11:32 pm Not sure. Have yet to bring my bike through one. If I got a ticket from one of those cameras I would spend a couple hours a day standing beside it with an air horn to show it's not accurate.

Is yours leaking? Most of the time I've replaced exhaust systems I've reused the gaskets and haven't had an issue.JonTheChron wrote: Mon Sep 03, 2018 12:33 amThe copper gaskets that are on there with the stock systems were visibly crushed to the pattern of the stock system.
