H2 SX/SX SE recall
Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
My letter did come today for my 2018 H2 SX SE. I ran the serial number earlier on the site and it showed nothing. But the letter did come, and I called the dealer!
Update: 9-28-2018 My dealer called and my part is in. Having it installed this Monday morning!
Update: 10-2-2018. My dealer installed the new part, and its is welded nice. No worries now! They took care of it fast!

Received my letter today. Going to pop in the dealer tomorrow or Thursday and see if they even know about it.

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
My letter came in yesterday. Waiting for a replacement painted panel to come in. So I'll probably get that, my pannier color panels, and the recall part all in one shot.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

For the recall, my dealership already got the parts for the center stand but refuse to exchange, they say Kawasaki tech have to replace the parts, When I saw the recal, I remove the little bracket with the pin and the center stand for safety.no I will have to put back the the center stand and drove to the dealer and they will change the parts. They say it's a federal law!??

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
My dealer finally received the replacement center stand part Tuesday and made the swap today. It was a beautiful day for a ride!

Try another dealer. I had already taken my center stand off when I got my Pitbull. My dealer took my old bracket and handed me the new one in the box.kingroslolo wrote: Sun Sep 30, 2018 2:39 am For the recall, my dealership already got the parts for the center stand but refuse to exchange, they say Kawasaki tech have to replace the parts, When I saw the recal, I remove the little bracket with the pin and the center stand for safety.no I will have to put back the the center stand and drove to the dealer and they will change the parts. Rode to Essen in the pelting rain in my new Rukka Realer Suit! Terrific experience, after 30y in leather.
Gosh, US is late on the swap. Got mine exchanged two weeks after email notification mid September.
Ride safely, cool Dude!
