Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
Yep, they just welded the front side also to close the gap and eliminate water intrusion that was causing the pin to rust and fail. Easy to check to see if your bike needs this.Kwee wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 12:14 pm Pictures take from Facebook, crédit David Henshaw

Have you checked your bikes VIN in the related Service Info?

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
If your pin is not welded on the front side you are part of the recall whether your VIN is listed or not. I would not assume anything else.

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
Thanks man for posting a pic of the replacement and confirming! HouTexH2SX was right when asuming the front side gap around the peg was to blame!Kwee wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 12:14 pm Pictures take from Facebook, crédit David Henshaw

Yep! You were right!HouTexH2SX wrote: Fri Sep 07, 2018 9:07 pm The picture of the failed pin that roadczar posted looks like some rusting of the pin itself may have caused the failure. Mine is welded on the backside but I'm still nervous--probably needs to be welded on the frontside as well to prevent water intrusion.

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
Thanks for the additional info. Like the rest of you the pin appears welded on the back and not the front (no big surprise that mine is no different). Oh well, something else to do when I put the Vandemon system in.

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
anyone n the USA get a notice?
my stand is already off , took it off when installing the exhaust
my pin is not welded on the front side so I think it would be in the recall
