H2 SX/SX SE recall

Great info!
Just checked the centerstand (and VIN). Itˋs the old version.
I secured the stand with some cable belts.
My dealer wasnˋt aware of this recall. I will first get a letter from Kawasaki Germany (who are 3 Kilometers away from me). Then it gets fixed. No hurry. Can wait.

Got a call today that my VIN falls into the recall category too so include Australia in that list.
Apparently Kawasaki haven't utvout an announcement but have slipped it in with general paperwork that my dealer found by accident.

Does anyone know what VIN range is subject to the recall? Is there actually a "new" version of the spring attachment point on the frame that isn't being recalled? It seems that most of the guys saying they need the recall are in Europe or Australia.

Makes me wonder if Kawasaki Canada will issue a recall but I doubt it. My 07 and 08 zx6r’s had a leaky valve cover gasket. Every country had a recall out for it except Canada.

They better, there is no reason why a recall shouldn't be issued for Canada.

And what is Exactly wrong with the center stand? The pins that hold the spring? The stand itself?

UFO, how about posting the images to this thread? I don't really do social media at all (beyond this and one other forum).

Now that we have an official looking notice with affected VIN's, I've pulled my centerstand.
