Same here. It's a centerstand. I'm not going to worry about it unless Kawi contacts me.ninjatx wrote: Fri Aug 31, 2018 10:38 am I checked the official Kawasaki recall site and entered my VIN.

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
That said, it might not hurt to do a close visual examination of the centerstand, spring and mounting bolts to verify all is good down there.
Going out to the garage in a it to do just that.

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
Depends,
a fail while putting the bike on the center stand , worse case bike falls over
a fail of something while your riding the bike and the center stand comes down!! This could be disastrous

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
I got a call yesterday from Kawasaki USA and they told me to take the centerstand off my bike or quit riding. (i have a non SE with an added centerstand) The call was recorded as I kept hearing beeps during the conversation. The guy stated that a replacement is about 3 weeks out.

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
I've heard nothing from Kawi on this yet. I inspected my stand today and the pin looked good. I took the spring off and checked the upper pin.
it's weird because the upper pin doesn't look welded on but press fit in or something while the lost post/pin is clearly welded on. And odd choice.

Aaaaaaand who is she? Why should I trust what she says?
I'll wait to hear from Kawasaki.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
I ask my dealer, no recall for the H2 SX in France. Must be location based.

Re: H2 SX/SX SE recall
I just called Kawasaki and got an update. The issue is with the spring tab that bolts on to the frame is failing. If the the tab fails the stand will drop, so if riding it could be a big safety issue. I am pulling mine today. Fortunately, I just got one of my PowerStands pins modified, so I have a rear wheel lift for service.

Called my dealer today and recall is confirmed in Norway too.
Kwee: I think you will get a recall in France as well.
