my Vandemon exhuast thread
Re: my Vandemon exhuast thread
Vcyclenut I know it will be awhile before you get everything dialed in and developed. But once you get both the standard muffler and the H2R style muffler tested, will you let us know if it's safe to use the same tune for both please? My plan is to run the open (no baffle) H2R style muffler most of the time and switch to the standard vandemon muffler when using the bags.

thanks, yes i swapped them out for new ones, the oem ones are very thinJonTheChron wrote: Sun Sep 02, 2018 7:03 pm Very nice! I'm very excited to see the numbers after a reflash the FULL VANDEMON + SPRINT F1-85.
Would you consider replacing the EXHAUST GASKETS when swapping headers?
Keep up the good work!

sure, if it was me i would just have them tune it for the h2r muffler, no way that tune could be unsafe for the longer can but once i have some more data i let you know how far off it will be.

Re: my Vandemon exhuast thread
initial impressions are positive, its been ridiculous here with heat and humidity but my impressions are that it is going to show gains across the range with a decent but not crazy bump in top end hp.
Ive done a few dyno runs but with humidity over 50% and temps in the 90's the numbers are pointless to compare. This is the first time I have wished I had a climate controlled dyno room.
The fueling needs are quite a bit different then the stock pipe or stock pipe with a slip on and I could feel some roughness before I started tuning but now it feels silky smooth again with great response and sound and the drop in weight is noticeable when riding.
im hoping we should have some cooler weather in the coming weeks.
