I have the SE version and think the led dashboard is weak in normal daylight. Anyone discovered if it can be adjusted?
Yes. It has 3 levels of brightness. Hold down 'mode' button to enter settings menu, scroll to Brightness and adjust.
However, (apologies if you already know this) but a quick press of mode changes the LCD from white on black to black on white. Ideal for instant sun / ambient light changes while riding.

It has 3 brightness settings, 2 color settings and 3 or 4 configuration settings.

I find the TFT display to be fantastic actually. There is a light sensor in the tach (the indicator just above the high beams indicator), make sure that isn't obstructed.

Thanks everyone, but I mis-typed earlier and actually have the SX version that does not have the better dashboard.
Does anyone know if it's capable of adjusting to a brighter setting or as Barrel says, capable of reversing contrast ? I am out of state right now and away from the bike but will try whatever I can.

You cannot reverse contrast.
Yes the brightness can be adjusted. The LCD display has 3 level. See page 70 of your manual.
Hold down the Mode button to get into settings, then navigate to Brightness. Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3.

This might help.
