Also amazing is David at vcyclenut.com. In addition to his quick turn around with the ECU flash, I had previously ordered the Sprint F1 filter. The Woodcraft frame sliders were added to the ECU flash order. Anyway, the ECU flash price is a fantastic value for the performance received. Will I do an exhaust system upgrade? Quien sabe. For awhile, I just want to enjoy this new bike performance and hope my right wrist doesn't empty my wallet paying for gasoline!
Installed my vcyclenut flashed ECU. Wow!

Due to too much other life going on, the flashed ECU upgrade has taken awhile to eventuate. Yesterday, I finished putting the bike back together and went for a short (~20 mile ride) to get a first sampling of how the revised ECU performs. First good news was no CEL on start up. Next, the warm up cycle seemed unchanged with the idle rpm dropping below 1500 after a few minutes. I use that as a signal for me to get under way. Once on the open road, throttle performance was very smooth; the throttle-off to throttle-on transitions were very smooth, much as on my 2006 Triumph Daytona 675. 6 miles on two-lane slow roads to a divided 4-lane with 65 mph speed "limit". Acceleration seemed better by the SOTP dyno; so far so good. About 5 miles later, made a u-turn at a roundabout and got on the throttle. Not full throttle but maybe half throttle. I was at criminal speed levels very quickly and settled down to non-conspicuous speed for the rest of the ride home. WOW! The flexibility, rideability and strong power are amazing!
