12v Triggered
Anyone fine an ez way to tap into triggered 12v source below the seat? I keep my radar detector there and want to find a power source that turns off with the key.

Re: 12v Triggered
The easiest might be tail light or license plate power. There are a few connectors under the seat, not sure which ones they run through but you can look at the wiring diagram in the shop manual (see top post of Mods & Maint forum).

Re: 12v Triggered
There is a 12v triggered below the passenger seat. I use it for a similar device.

Re: 12v Triggered
Another option if you want a permanent hard-wired connection, is to take a switched feed (or unswitched) off the accessory relay under the fuel tank. Slightly more work but it keep your accessories connected to the accessory circuit and fuse. See this thread for details.Kanzan wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 1:03 pmcould you please tell me where exactly, I need to power a tom tom rider.
