Re: Jerky at 30-50 km/h
Made the experiment today.
Cruise Control at 45km/h - 3rd Gear.
The result is-cruise Control works- but far away from smoothly-speed jumps between 44 and 46 km/h.
Still jerky-but how to convince Kawasaki?

Now you have clear evidence that it's the bike not rider. I don't know how you convince Kawasaki to do something about it though.

It's amazing how fast you can go when you take your time.

I am still waiting for an answer from Kawasaki Sweden. Maybe they just try to ignore it. I’ll send a new reminder soon.

Re: Jerky at 30-50 km/h
Hello again! Sorry about long delay!
I got an answer from Kawasaki Sweden several weeks ago. They said “all H2SX are jerky at 30-40 km/h”!
Strange! I was so surprised about the answer, so I couldn’t write back for some time. In this forum I have seen 2 complaing. All the others are satisfied even when forced to ride 30-40 km/h.
Today I sent a new email, suggesting there could be something wrong with just these two bikes (mine, and the other with the same problem in Germany).
After just some hours, I got an answer back, suggesting (free translation) “the problem can be the owner, not the bike”!
BUT: In the same mail they say “I will contact you as soon as we have a solution. Kawasaki Germany are engaged, and they have better resources, so I hope hou have the pation to wait for som more time!
I really take that as a promise, and I hope the problem is solved before next season starts!

Re: Jerky at 30-50 km/h
I tested two H2 SX(My dealer bike and mine) and they are jerky between 30 and 50 km/h but not enough to be annoying.Galbert wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 6:18 pm Hello again! Sorry about long delay!

Maybe your bike is affected by a lazy injector, which lean even more the bike at those rpms.

Re: Jerky at 30-50 km/h
I have tested two demo bikes. If I disconnect the O2 sensor on my own bike it is about as jerky as the two demos. With the O2 sensor connected it is really annoying. Now I hope for Kawasaki to take some action.

Re: Jerky at 30-50 km/h
Not allowing the chain to have too much slack helps to negate the lurching. I also dip the clutch ever so slightly when filtering through traffic for example whereby your constantly altering the revs, this helps smooth things out. Keeping a very firm hence stable throttle grip by pushing up on the throttle tube with your thumb and down with the outside part of your hand for want of a better way of describing. Also hold the inner part of the bar end weight as well as the throttle can help absorb unexpected movement caused by bumps, as does resting fingers on brake lever.I've done 3 thousand and I'm much smoother than initially.I think chopping the fuel so quickly after changing gear is another irritant. Good luck with it.

Hey Kwee
Maybe that’s the solution. But I think it’s quite strange that Kawasaki can’t fix it! As long as the warranty is valid I’m a little bit worried about flashing.
