Re: Finally everything has arrived.
its up to you guys to believe or not, some engines have smaller radiator than they need and that radiator needs all the air possible. some rad guards do block the smooth airflow. you don't have to listen to me
but I know something that's why I write. I even got evidence to support it but at the moment i can't do that as it will affect a few of my friends. when they cleared out I am sure there will be a threat for radiator covers, if Kawasaki sees this happening a lot then they might do a little announcement saying they don't recommend radiator guards. Is there a radiator guard from Kawasaki website for h2 sx? i don't think so. anyway, i said enough.

Re: Finally everything has arrived.
you are somewhat correct, but i do see engine damage from heat because the radiator it self-was blocked by debris .cOoTeR wrote: Tue Aug 07, 2018 10:45 pmA radiator guard is not going to affect the temperatures a noticeable amount. Flash and exhaust are not going to melt an engine without significantly bumping the redline as part of the flash.THOR wrote: Tue Aug 07, 2018 9:55 pmyou don't have to believe it, I heard a few times. if you leaving the bike alone without no full exhaust or flash i guess its ok , but when you do some performance upgrades that bike will run hot. Didn't you heard about people with H2 melting their engines .?
You are spreading lies saying that a radiator guard will raise your engine temps a noticeable amount. You are a liar plain and simple. The "melted" engines you are referring I'm assuming are the highly modified engines that were constantly raced and running significantly higher boost. Such as Gadson's, boosted H2's (posted above), and 650ibs. All those bikes were making over 300hp. To make the power they were making they were producing significantly higher boost temperatures which has very little to do with the radiator on the bike. All those bikes were often run around redline for significant amounts of time. A stock motor run like that wouldn't last long either. To imply that a radiator guard melted their engines is ridiculous.
A bike with bolt-on modifications (exhaust, tune and air filter) is not going to have any issues as a result of installing a radiator guard. If the BS your spreading was true there would be hundreds of bikes blown up as a result of running a radiator guard.

I would love to see your "proof" but I bet it doesn't exist.THOR wrote: Wed Aug 08, 2018 1:26 pm its up to you guys to believe or not, some engines have smaller radiator than they need and that radiator needs all the air possible. some rad guards do block the smooth airflow. you don't have to listen to mebut I know something that's why I write. Re: Finally everything has arrived.
i can't as my friend and Kawasaki headquarters had a deal. so this must not be known by anyone. I am just not lying, they are not sure what was the overheating cause of the new SX SE but they blame the rad guard (r&g)cOoTeR wrote: Wed Aug 08, 2018 8:42 pmI would love to see your "proof" but I bet it doesn't exist.THOR wrote: Wed Aug 08, 2018 1:26 pm its up to you guys to believe or not, some engines have smaller radiator than they need and that radiator needs all the air possible. some rad guards do block the smooth airflow. you don't have to listen to mebut I know something that's why I write. "Must not be known by anyone" yet you know? Then you say "they are not sure what was the overheating cause" that is only proof that you have no proof! If the radiator guard was to blame there is no way Kawasaki would make a "deal" with your friend. They would tell your friend that it's your friends fault for installing the guard.
Bikes have been running radiator guards for quiet awhile. If they were causing bikes to run significantly hotter there would be tons of examples on the internet of bikes being negatively affected by the radiator guard. Unless the radiator guard is blocking a majority of the radiator it will not affect it.

brother don't be stupid, why would i lie to you ? what is my benefit of it? if my friend would have to go to media, it would have been big. Kawasaki headquarters don't want it. you can all buy and fit the radiator covers your bikes are under warranty. Anyway, i don't want to talk about this subject i am out of it. i am telling you to watch out.

Re: Finally everything has arrived.
So debris is the same as a guard in your world? Interesting. One would postulate that a guard would prevent the kind of debris blockage you've "seen" cause damage.THOR wrote: Wed Aug 08, 2018 1:27 pmyou are somewhat correct, but i do see engine damage from heat because the radiator it self-was blocked by debris .cOoTeR wrote: Tue Aug 07, 2018 10:45 pmA radiator guard is not going to affect the temperatures a noticeable amount. Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity
Re: Finally everything has arrived.
Why would you say things like changing sprockets affects suspension, claim to be able to get brake calipers for significantly less than anyone else then when asked where you refuse to tell anyone responding with "the internet" as where you found them for less, you claimed the brakes were to weak for you before you even rode the bike. You say all kinds of stuff that isn't true. Why you do it, I have no idea.THOR wrote: Thu Aug 09, 2018 11:09 am brother don't be stupid, why would i lie to you ? what is my benefit of it? if my friend would have to go to media, it would have been big. If an aftermarket addition to a bike caused it to be damaged the part damaged would not be covered by warranty. So there would be no reason for Kawasaki to try to hide whatever was wrong with your friends bike. If there is any truth to what your saying it sounds like there is an issue with the cooling system on our bikes. But you want to keep that a secret.

Re: Finally everything has arrived.
changing sprocket will change the wheelbase there for COULD affect the REAR suspension. I rode the bike the brakes are ok for 1 rider, but if you load the bike two up and panniers it will start to struggle. as the second half of my demo, I ride with my wife on the back.
you don't have to believe me, brother, I just bought a fender extender rather than the rad guard as what I told you to happen in Europe may not be the same as America may be.
i don't want to say anything as my friends bike getting put back in back, but what i can say to you is it was a heat damaged valves and head gaskets. But it doesn't mean it will happen with every bike but what I want to say is when my friend go back to Kawasaki, they said you shouldnt have used the radguard as its not approved by Kawasaki. He did ECU flash as well, so it was a long story, the stock bikes will be ok but if you thinking of putting a full system or ecu flash think again when you putting that rad guard on .
hope this explains better
my new bike coming tomorrow cant wait!
