Re: Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
Dipped both pegs one coat in Plastidip….can still see/feel the teeth...might brush on a second coat to the top.
Will do a long tour and report back on feel/improvements, if any...

Re: Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
Just got back from a 2,000+ mile ride from South Texas to NE Arkansas and back.
The Knight Design lower pegs and Beet 10mm handlebar spacers were a great improvement over stock.
I dipped the pegs in PlastiDip one coat, but it was wearing off the sharp edges of the pegs in a few miles...I may try and recoat them with several coats to see if that works.

I took a look at the Knight's Design site and the H2 SX SE is not listed, are you guys ordering pegs for the zx-14r and do the 1 3/8 working without mods to brake and shifter. Any info appreciated

Re: Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
I believe the Ninja 300 versions fit the H2 SX, and those are the ones people are installing and referring to.theoldone wrote: Wed Oct 03, 2018 2:51 am I took a look at the Knight's Design site and the H2 SX SE is not listed, are you guys ordering pegs for the zx-14r and do the 1 3/8 working without mods to brake and shifter. Re: Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
I installed ones for the ZX-14R, and I'm still getting used to them.
As for the brakes, the stock adjuster nut doesn't provide quite enough adjustment. See this post on the previous page: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=592&sid=c4f515dfaf1 ... t=10#p6139
Even with the nut from Motowerk, I wasn't able to get the pedal as low as I would have liked, because it looked like if I adjusted it much lower, the rod end might rub inside the nut. I got it close enough to suit me. After I adjusted the pedal, I had to adjust the brake light switch and the cruise control cutoff switch. Mebbe I was doing it wrong, but I found it a pain to adjust the brake light switch because I had to adjust it, bolt the footrest bracket back on and then test it, then unbolt and re-adjust, etc.
On the shifter side, I loosened the shift lever and rotated it one notch on the shaft and then worked the adjuster on the lever. As with the brake lever, I wasn't able to get it as low as I would have liked because it hits the side stand if you adjust it too low.

So, which way is better - the Ninja 300 pegs or the ZZR1400 ones? Cost? funtionality?

Re: Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
I was scraping the pegs often, so I cut the bottom and improved the ground clearance a lot.
