Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
These look like these may be a good solution for more leg room...

Although I'd prefer rubber covers for less vibration at the feet for long touring rides...
Maybe using Plastidip would help if no rubbers are available from Knight or stock foot peg rubber swaps...
If anyone has installed these please post up with your evaluation...

I have the 35mm silver sidetrax ones on order and should receive them in 2 days--I'll post up after installation. I too would like a rubber cover but that would just reduce the legroom.

Re: Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
I used mine from my ZX-14R and they fit perfectly and has made a tremendous difference. I have the 35mm black sidetrax and the bike is so much more comfortable for me, I'm 6'2" and I'm extremely satisfied with the difference.
My brother rode my bike before after I installed the pegs and I didn't tell him that I had installed them and he raved about newly found legroom. Bike is perfect to me now except for the seat, highly recommended.

Re: Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
I received my Knight Design lowering pegs yesterday and installed them in about 15 minutes (it would have been even shorter except for those stupid circlips!). They lower your feet about 1 1/2" and make a HUGE difference after a 150 mile ride today. They are really nicely machined as well and I don't feel there would be any issue standing up on them--they cost $129.95 plus shipping and worth every penny IMHO.
Now if I could just do something about the seat...................

Do your feet stick out much more? Just saw they were anodized, so they are aluminum.
Thanks for posting that these fit. That would be a nice mod.

Re: Knight Design's Lowering Pegs
The pegs only lower your feet, they do not move them outward at all. However, the new pegs are a little longer than the stockers. They appear to be CNC machined out of a sold block of alumiunum.
I usually ride with the balls of my feet on the pegs but I'm hooking the heels of my boots over these for even more legroom. I had to adjust the shift lever to a lower position and you do lose a little ground clearance. If I'm leaning the bike quite a bit I need to remember to go back to the balls of my feet on the pegs--I scaped the toes of my boots a couple of times today.
