Re: SE Seat is Torturous
The parts fiche shows that the SE comes with 53066-0592 (high seat in black/gray) for the front and 53066-0593 (standard seat in black/gray) for the rear. It looks like we have the "high" seat by name, but the 99994-1068 (comfort seat with double stitch) says it is 33", which is taller than the OEM specs for the SE model at 32". I may jump in and get the Comfort seat also.

Re: SE Seat is Torturous
No matter what the parts fiche says, I believe that the SE model is coming stock with the 99994-1068 higher double-stitched Comfort SE Seat. Both it and the 99994-1067 Comfort Seat show to be a 33" seat height so I'm not sure what the difference is other than the fancy stitching. Maybe the 53066-0593 Standard Seat is the one that is 32" and it might be the stock seat on the base model.

We shall see. Mine will be here on Wednesday, and I will give it back to them if it is the same.

The part numbers above, -0592 and -0593, are what I have on my SE.57x wrote: Fri Aug 17, 2018 3:34 pm The parts fiche shows that the SE comes with 53066-0592 (high seat in black/gray) for the front and 53066-0593 (standard seat in black/gray) for the rear. Do they have the 2 rows of stitching and the micro-suede sides?Thunderdawg wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 12:28 amThe part numbers above, -0592 and -0593, are what I have on my SE.57x wrote: Fri Aug 17, 2018 3:34 pm The parts fiche shows that the SE comes with 53066-0592 (high seat in black/gray) for the front and 53066-0593 (standard seat in black/gray) for the rear. Re: SE Seat is Torturous
Then I believe that you have the 99994-1068 drivers seat. Why do you think you have the 53066-0592?Thunderdawg wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 1:40 amYes.HouTexH2SX wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 1:25 amDo they have the 2 rows of stitching and the micro-suede sides?Thunderdawg wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 12:28 amThe part numbers above, -0592 and -0593, are what I have on my SE.57x wrote: Fri Aug 17, 2018 3:34 pm The parts fiche shows that the SE comes with 53066-0592 (high seat in black/gray) for the front and 53066-0593 (standard seat in black/gray) for the rear. Re: SE Seat is Torturous
Because, rather than speculating, Thunderdawg had the good sense to actually remove his seats and look. I did the same and found numbers 0592 & 0593 clearly marked on the bottom of the seats of my H2 SX SE. This is in line with what 57x said earlier.HouTexH2SX wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2018 2:55 pm Then I believe that you have the 99994-1068 drivers seat. Why do you think you have the 53066-0592?

Re: SE Seat is Torturous
It will be interesting to see what the difference is between the 53066-0592 and 99994-1068. The Kawasaki website states that the 99994-1068 is standard equipment on some SX models and the pictures of the SE model show this double-stitched, suede-sided seat.
I can't check the number on my driver's seat since I sent it off to Sargent, but there are 2 numbers on my passenger seat, 53066-0593 and 53066-0598. This makes me wonder if that is the part number for the pan that is used on all of the various seat styles. Yes, just speculating.

Re: SE Seat is Torturous
I just got my comfort SE seat in today. Its the exact same seat. It has different numbers on it but exactly the same thickness in padding. New one is a little harder but that just because its not broken in yet.
This is going back.
