Yep, looks widened and dished just like Sargent does.

Yup, pretty much. Local seat guy is doing it, custom to me. Went in today for the test fit and trimming. Should turn out really well.

And I agree with your initial post. This is the worst stock seat I've had the displeasure of sitting on. I've nicknamed it the "Spanish Inquisition".

I emailed Sargent on the 17th. The comment below is what Dane the rep that contacted me had to say...
(They are telling us the seat is still about a month out. Hopefully it will
be well worth the wait. Feel free to give me a call if we can help in
anyway.)
He said he had 7 on his list alone not sure how many reps they have so it will be coming!

Do we have any comments on the 2020 H2 SX SE seat and whether in its stock oem form it is any better than previous seats. I have a Corbin on my 2000 9R and it is real comfortable. I had a Sargent on my 08 ZX14 and it was excellent. I have only logged 125km on my new SE seat, I would expect it will take 2-3000 for the seat to break in and become better but overall for short time I have used it it is not yet killing me but I have not put on any serious miles at all.

I ended up removing most of the cover & cutting a section out of an old RX-1 sled seat, then splicing it in, couldve put more on the front but so far its been great! Even over 400kms 2 up & i am comfy!

My sargeant seat got here yesterday.Only took about two weeks.Their website said 'in stock'.So I installed it.Geez.This thing feels SO much better.Haven't rode with it yet,but just sitting on it was VERY different. It's shaped really well and flattened out.Very soft. Can hardly wait to ride with it.Some rain today(my day off). We'll see.It most definitely feels lower.Kinda like sitting in the bike as opposed to on.Bars felt higher.

Can you give an update on this please?

I’m considering ordering this but your comment about it being soft concerns me a bit. I feel as though the pain I get on stock seat is from lack of firmness.

Well, the firmness of the seat is fine. You should be good to go.I just didn't want it firmer, just shaped differently. You should be okay.Taking some off for me was okay. The seat foam is good.I just had two spots where my butt got sensitive on.My reshape eliminated that.
